Consumer Promotion: Canon EOS Consumer Promotion

A) TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.1 This Promotion is organised by Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“CMM”). By registering

and accepting this Promotion, Customers are deemed to have agreed to be bound by the terms

and conditions stated herein.

1.2 This Promotion is valid to all Customer who have a permanent residential address in Malaysia

except for CMM’s employees (including their immediate families), affiliates, authorized dealers,

distributors, corporate/corporation, project sales, and its agents.

1.3 This Promotion is valid from 2nd April 2018 until 30th June 2018 (“Promotion Period”).

1.4 Instant Cashback, Camera Bag & 16GB SD Card or 32GB SD Card will be given upon

purchase. Camera Bag may be subject to change depending on stock availability.

1.5 Battery Pack & Mount Adapter EF-EOS M must be redeemed online through Your Life with Canon

(www.ylwc.canon.com.my) with proof of purchase, except for EOS M6 and EOS 77D. Battery pack

for EOS M6 and EOS 77D will be given upon purchase.

1.6 CMM reserves the right to void, amend or revise the terms and conditions of this Promotion as and

when necessary without any prior notice.

B) How to enjoy this Promotion 2.1 To enjoy this Promotion, Customers must first purchase any one (1) unit of the selected Thirty

2.2 Customer must ensure that the selected Canon camera models purchased from Canon Authorised

Dealers carries a valid warranty issued by CMM.

2.3 For clarification purpose, each Customer can only purchase up to two (2) different units of the

selected Canon camera models during the Promotion Period. In the event Customer purchases

three (3) different units or more, Customer can only redeem up to two (2) redemption only.

2.4 Upon purchase of the selected Canon camera models, Customer must register the product

warranty at https://ylwc.canon.com.my within seven (7) days from the date of purchase in order to

enjoy this Promotion. The last registration date for product warranty shall expire on 7th July 2018

for the purchases made on 30th June 2018.

2.5 Upon successful registration of the product warranty, Customer will receive an email notification

from CMM to confirm the registration is successful. In the event Customer fail to receive such

email notification within three (3) working days from the date of registration, Customer shall log-on

to CMM website at http://www.canon.com.my/local/my/contact/indexContact.jsp and provide CMM

with Customer’s feedback via web-form for enquiry.

2.6 Promotional products shall always subject to availability and while stock last. CMM shall not be

liable for the failure of Canon Authorised Dealers to fulfil orders of promotional products during or

after Promotion Period.

C) The Redemption

3.1 By purchasing any one(1) unit of the selected Canon camera model, Customers are entitled to

redeem one (1) time free Redemption Gift(s) as per the table below:-

3.2 Customers are allowed only up to two (2) times redemption of two (2) different Canon camera

models. For each unit purchased, Customer must successfully register its product warranty online

and redeem for the free gift within the Promotion Period.

3.3 Following the successful online warranty and redemption registration, CMM (or its agent) will use

its best endeavour to arrange for the delivery of the Redemption Gift(s) within 45 days upon

CMM’s receipt of the full and complete information.

3.4 CMM will not entertain any request or changes on your delivery details as provided.

3.5 This redemption is only applicable for all addresses in Malaysia.

3.6 This redemption is subject to availability of the Redemption Gift(s) and it is to be redeemed on a

first come first served basis.

3.7 All Redemption Gift(s) are not exchangeable for any form of cash or other products.

D) General

4.1 This Promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion organized by CMM.

4.2 By providing the required information, Customer hereby consent to CMM in processing your

personal data for this Promotion and any other CMM marketing promotion (“Purpose”) in

accordance to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”). For a full notice of the PDPA,

4.3 Customer’s information may be shared among CMM’s employees, agents or other related and

unrelated CMM entities and/or business partners acting on CMM’s behalf for this Purpose.

4.4 CMM shall not be held liable or responsible for any delay, failure and/or unsuccessful registration

due to whatsoever reasons during the Promotion Period.

4.5 CMM shall not be liable in any way to any person for any loss or damage arising from or in

connection with this Promotion.

4.6 CMM shall have the sole and absolute discretion to decide on all matters relating to or in

connection with this Promotion (including but not limited to eligibility of this Promotion) and such

decision(s) shall be final and binding on all Customers.

4.7 CMM shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence with Customers on any matter

concerning this Promotion.

4.8 CMM may at any time at its sole and absolute discretion to terminate this Promotion or

vary/amend any of these terms and conditions without prior notice and without furnishing any

reason.

4.9 In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions and any advertising,

promotional, publicity and other material relating to or in connection with this Promotion, these

terms and conditions shall prevail.

4.10 These terms and conditions shall be governed by Malaysian laws and all parties agrees to submit

to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
