5 Easy Ways to Help Forests Now

1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Every product has an environmental

footprint - from the materials used to create it, to the pollution emitted during manufacturing, to the packaging that ends up in landfills. Before you buy, ask yourself if you really need it. Where possible, buy gently used instead of new, and look for minimal packaging and shipping.

2. Ask for and choose FSC-certified brands and products at retail, furniture stores, and lumberyards. From furniture to facial tissue, many corporations, retailers, and brands are working with us protect forests. See our current buying guide on the next page. We are continually adding new FSC-certified products and brands.
