What is the objective of Regulation (EU) 216/2008?

The principal objective of this Regulation is to establish

and maintain a high uniform level of civil aviation

Who is affected?

National Aviation Authorithies (NAAs) and EU airports

have to achieve and maintain compliance with legal

EU regulations (e.g. Reg (EU) 216/2008, 139/2014,

open to public use and serving commercial

air transport

using instrument approach or providing departure

paved runway of 800 metres or above or exclusively
