Stability of quality is a critical issue in plants producing paints and coatings. Maintaining constancy in viscosity of such products is a key element of this at-tribute. The falling cylinder type viscos-ity sensor - Model I VISCO SENSOR - was

developed with this objective in mind. The VISCO SENSOR is inserted into the tanks of coating machinery, etc., and pro-vides real-time output of viscosity data, eliminating time-consuming sampling with resulting savings in raw material.
