FUTURE PLANS & TIMESCALES

This letter outlines my future plans to create a sundial trail around the Burlingham Walks.

1) I am at present designing and arranging the building of a polar sundial for Farrows Wood. This should be working this summer, 2014.

2) I have had a meeting with Fairhaven Gardens who have agreed for me to build an equatorial sundial at the gardens. This sundial will be built sometime this autumn 2014.

Page 56: Construction of Cube Dial for Austins Wood

3) St Lawrence’s Centre For Training & The Arts have agreed for me to have a photo gallery of the various sundials on the trail with information about the sundials. This will be available at the end of the year 2014. I should have a total of 15 sundials around the walks by this time – 9 sundials plus 6 medieval scratch dials.

A further 3 sundials could be built at other locations in 2015 – 2 declining plus a noon mark.

CONCLUSION

This project will provide an informative, entertaining and relaxing day out for both adults and children.
