QUALITY POLICY

STATEMENT ON QUALITY POLICY

It is the policy of ALI MUHANNA to monitor, measure and analyze to achieve planned results and

continual improvement ensuring quality control and quality assurance to International standards. To

ensure that all stages and phases of ALI MUHANNA projects are executed in significance using

highly motivated workforce, best coded practices, International specifications that will achieve

timely completion of projects with the fullest satisfaction of our customers. The General Manager is

responsible for adherence to this commitment as stated under `Statement of Authority`.

STATEMENT OF AUTHORITY

ALI MUHANNA Construction Division has assigned the Quality Management and personnel; the

equipment and the facilities to perform the activities scheduled and to

ensure that the effectiveness of quality shall be in total compliance with the Engineering Standards

& Specifications, requirements of ISO 9001-2008 and applicable National and International

Standards. The General Manager acknowledges the necessity to establish and maintain the

company procedures to produce high quality product and commits himself to maintain the Quality

Control System and to engage in the Quality Control functions. All personnel in the Quality Control

Group shall be responsible for implementation and control of the established procedures. The QC

Inspector (s) shall carry out the inspection and testing on each of the project activities and shall see

to it that all of corrections/ modifications made shall be in accordance with the project requirements.

The overall responsibility of the company to ensure that implementation of the Quality Control

System as detailed in the Manual shall be handled by the QA/QC Manager who has the authority

to place on hold any operation that is not in compliance with the Standards, Codes and Contract

requirements. This QA/QC Plan and System included therein describe how the quality assurance

program of ALI MUHANNA is designed to ensure that all quality requirements are recognized and

that a consistent and uniform control of these requirements is maintained.



SAFETY POLICY

ALI MUHANNA is fully committed to meet its responsibilities to the requirements of Client and local leg-

islative requirements both as an Employer and as a Company. To achieve these objectives it has

appointed a designated member of staff responsible for ALI MUHANNA occupational health and

safety; to keep workplace health and safety and welfare procedures under constant review; to liaise

with the appropriate Health and Safety authorities wherever necessary; and keep the Company and

Board of Directors abreast of new legislation, regulations to ensure ongoing compliance with the law.

The main responsibility for health and safety lies with the General Manager. The Company is bound

by any acts and/or omissions of the General Manager, any manager, giving rise to legal liability,

provided only that such acts and/or omissions arise out of in the course of Company business.

To comply with its statutory and common law duties, ALI MUHANNA has arranged insurance against

liability for death, injury and/or disease suffered by any of its employees arising out of and in the

course of employment, if caused by negligence and/or breach of statutory duty on the part of

ALI MUHANNA.

ALI MUHANNA employees agree as part of their contract of employment, to comply with their individ-

ual duties

under local legislative requirements and will cooperate with their Employer to enable him to carry out

his health and safety duties. Failure to comply with health and safety duties, regulations, work rules

and procedures regarding health and safety, on the part of any employee may lead to dismissal,

in the case of serious breaches or repeated breaches; such dismissal may be instant and without

prior warning.

ALI MUHANNA has instituted a system of reporting accidents, diseases and dangerous ALI

MUHANNA currencies.

ALI MUHANNA shall comply with its duties towards employees under local legislative requirements

so far as is reasonably practicable in order to:

Provide and maintain plant and systems of work that are safe and without risks to health, a

safe place of work and a safe system of work.

Ensure the safety and absence of risks to health in connection with the use, handling, storage

and transport of articles and substances.

Provide such information, instruction, training and supervision as may be necessary to ensure

the health and safety at work of its employees.

Make regular risk assessments available to employees Take appropriate preventative /

protective measures, provide employees with health surveillance where necessary.

Appoint competent personnel to secure compliance with statutory duties and to undertake

reviews of the policy as necessary.
