Our task was to create a vehicle to fill the gap between a car and a bicycle.Main constraints were that it has to be electrically operated in combina-tion with pure muscle power, just like a pedelec. Furthermore the basic di-mensions should not exceed 2100mm in length and 800mm in width.”
“
“Research revelead that the market for micro mobility concepts is already su-per saturated. One reason why these concepts were not appreciated was the MAYA-Principle (Most Advanced Yet Acceptable). We therefore set out to generate a new trend for the perform-ers of the Sinus Milieu.”

In cooperation with Benelli watercraft we created a completely new kind of snowmobile which should revolution-ize how mobility in skiresorts works. As a team, consisting of Paul Fally, Philippe Hohlfeld and myself we de-veloped this concept as our bachelor thesis. We picked up a failed attempt to rethink snowmobiles from the Sixties and brought it to new life.
It is common in large ski resorts to live somewhere off the slopes and larger hotels and instead rent a small, remote cabin. Since these cabins usually lie a few kilometers away from the clos-est chair lift and most tourists want to save their energy for the slopes rather than wasting it on hillpaths leading there, we decided to pursue the follow-ing concept:
“
“Passero - a snowmobile for anyone. To integrate Passero into a sharing sys-tem we chose a lightweight and small design to offer a safe experience for all users. The steering is done with skis, designed to fit any winter shoe, just as you would while riding a sled. Passero - reduced to the max.”

What will cleaning in the future look like? How will apps, machines, humans and pol-lution itself interact with each other? Our task was to develop ideas for products which could be realized by the year 2020.”
“
“After testing current Kärcher products we analysed the user needs. Many de-vices we use to clean our homes are often hidden in storage rooms or right between our clothes. Current products are not integrated in our furniture and take away a lot of space that is needed in small flats.”

What does the future of nutrition-conscious cooking look like? Which products do we need by the year of 2015? Which functions does it have to have and how can resource efficiency be increased?”
“
“Peeling fruits and vegetables, without getting your kitchen dirty. Combined with a cutting function, PEEL is an innovative and help-ful kitchen appliance. Based on its size PEEL allows you to cut near-ly every kind of fruit or vegetable.”

As the course Gestalten2 has a more artistic approach, the wardrobe we created had to be unique. Our assigment was to think beyond the conventional clothes rack and to add an ad-ditional value for the user.”
“
“The basic idea behind my con-cept is the ability to hang up your stuff at your table in the bar - a private wardrobe. After many ideas, I decided to design an expressionistic architectural form. I made one mock-up after another to approach the shape of the wardrobe to my sketches.”

DEFINING THE SHAPE VIA MOCK-UPS
O N E
We had to integrate a new manu-factured lightweight plate in co-operation with the firm Egger - EUROLIGHT. The basic pa-rameter was an U-shaped profile, which we had to use for our final joiners exam.”
“
“After several drafts, I decided to turn the U-profile in an upright position to use it as a winerack and bar. The body is made of the white lightweight panel, while all other elements were attached with santos rosewood veneer.”
