There are different attitudes to equal rights for women in

Christianity

The traditional attitude held by some protestants Christians

This teaches that men should be the head of the family and women should not

speak in church because

this is what the bible teaches.

St. Paul said in the bible men were created first

The liberal Christians believe that men and women have equal roles

and accept women as priest

This is because Jesus treated women as his equals and had women followers.

ST. Paul also said there is neither male nor female for you are all one person in Jesus Christ
