for calendar year 2012 are $50 for SHRM Members and $70 for Non
-SHRM Members.
While you have from now through January 31, 2012 in order to re-

We’d like to thank everyone who attended the 11th Annual Diversity and Worklife Summit and Awards earlier this month.
We’d like to give a special note of thanks to our sponsors, who made this event possible through their support of the Diversity

Through this annual awards ceremony, EHRA acknowledges the efforts of organizations that strive to promote understanding and appreciation
of diversity in its multitude of forms and that display outstanding leadership in fostering an inclusive work environment that supports its employ-
ees through Diversity Awareness, Worklife Programs and a broad range of Health and Benefits Programs.
This year, nine organizations submitted nominations, which were reviewed and scored by an independent group of judges from the field of HR,
who live and work outside of the Tri-State area.

EHRA Holiday Sprint Member Referral Program
Our Holiday Sprint member referral program is in full gear. As a reminder the program will run
through December 23, 2011 with the top three point earners receiving the following prize amounts:
Good List Prize Levels*:
1st Place – $50
2nd Place - $35
3rd Place - $20
Points are earned based on the type of referral. A referrer earns 1 point for a non-SHRM member
and 2 points for a SHRM member.
Plus for November, earn an extra point for any new member referral you make for anyone

EHRA Member Awarded SHRM Foundation Scholarship
The EHRA wishes to congratulate Janet
Heldt, SPHR for being selected to re-
ceive a $2,000 Academic Scholarship from the SHRM Foundation underwrit-
ten by the J.J. Keller Foundation. Ja-net is pursuing a graduate degree from
the University of Evansville.
The SHRM Foundation awards a total
of $100,000 annually in scholarships
for SHRM members pursuing degrees in HR-related fields or
SPHR, GPHR, PHR or California certification. 2012 Scholar-
ship Applications will be available on the SHRM website be-
ginning in April 2012. Congratulations, Janet!
