A big warm Hello from the Hub this week. We’ve just had the
most beautiful weekend with the weather being conducive to
getting out and about.
We hope those who can have bubble arrangements, were
able to catch up and spend some lovely time with that person.
Congratulations for putting in the hard yards, the numbers are
falling, so we are well on our way to getting restriction relief
soon. This is the last week of the extended Stage 4, so well
done to hanging in there.
With school holidays now with us, we hope you link into the
school holiday programs that are on offer at Braybrook
Community Centre and Library.
Take care, stay safe and enjoy that sunshine!

We’re still here
A well overdue thank you to all the traders at the Churchill Avenue shops. With the Braybrook Community Hub closing its doors on 16 March due to the pandemic, community linkages have been challenging to maintain.
Keeping our local community connected is an important part of what we do, so to be so disconnected we worry that some of our regulars are those who are vulnerable, may get lost or become invisible in the crazy times of COVID-19.
The Churchill Avenue Traders have continued to serve the community, not only with the goods and services they provide, but they have been in many cases, the only real human contact that people have had. During times of isolation, the Traders have been able to continue the community connection and help to support our local community. The Traders have become the people that keep a check out for community members. When they don’t see someone for a while, they’ve enquired about their health and wellbeing. When they’ve seen someone who isn’t their normal friendly smiley self, they’ve taken time to have a chat and help reassure them that we will get through this.
They have all put in place safeguards to keep you and them safe. During this time they have continued to provide food, beverages, banking and bill paying and postal support to the locals. We say thanks to you all for the continued services that you have provided.

Feedback from our students “Thank you to you and the others at Braybrook for the newsletters and the communication in general. It’s been a big help in these times. I’d also like to repeat my thanks for Sue's great yoga classes Monday and Wednesday this past term. I know like many others these clas-ses have provided great support in what are pretty lonely times.” - Margaret
“I met Nadia when I decided to try a meditation and relaxation class at Braybrook Community Hub at the start of 2020 to date. I found it really useful for my wellbeing. This class has helped me regain my confidence and reduce my anxiety and I recommend it to anyone who has similar problems.” - ML
“The yoga with Sue has made my life better through this lockdown period.” - Julia
