Adult Bible Classes On Sundays

Sunday Morning (9:00 a.m.)

Welcome Home: Connecting and Engaging People in Your Church— This six-week study looks at several principles from Scripture that move the church family to be a group that clearly and authentically communicates, “We’re glad you’re here.” Young Adults (Mayflower Office), Senior Adults (Fellowship Hall)

Boring: Finding an Extraor-dinary God in an Ordinary Life—While many think the way to significance is paved with the big, the showy and the grand. This six-week study asks, “What if God wants you to find significance and mean-ing inside the ordinary?” Adults (Room 104)

Galatians; James—Through these two books, the tension of grace and works are ad-dressed head on. While some see these books as contradic-tory, the study will help you understand the complimen-tary teaching of salvation from two view points. Adults (Room 109)

Creating an Intimate Mar-riage— Don’t settle for medio-

cre when it comes to satisfac-tion in marriage. This study will help take you back to the life you dreamed of when you said your vows and experi-ence the joys of an awe-filled marriage (Room 105)

Crest Baptist Church is… Committed to Christ—Connecting with Each Other— Commissioned to Serve Our Community and World

We had our kickoff cele-bration and were amazed by how many students God sent our way.

They were intrigued by 9 square in the air and free food. We got information from many of them, so please pray that as we reach out to them, God will work in their hearts to draw them into rela-tionship with him whether it's through Light Co or another ministry. We're looking for-ward to seeing what God will do on campus this semester!

Pastor Neal

In July, we took 4 students to Resonate Youth Conference in Des Moines. It was a great opportunity not just for the stu-dents to spend a week focused on their walk with God, but it also gave them op-portunities to serve the local community in Des Moines. We are already in the process of planning next year's Resonate,

which will land on July 8-12, 2019 and allow students who are involved in 4-H/FFA/

County Fair ac-tivities to attend. Our fall kick-off will be on Wednesday, Au-gust 29, with all students 6th-

12th grade. Join us for pizza, pop and 9 Square in the Air, and invite a friend!

Pastor Neal

If you are away at college, we want to stay in touch, Please email your campus address.

New 13 week cycle begins September 11 (see page 2)
