I immediately said, “I’m in.” As a youth pastor it’s not easy to get into a school and I saw this as a great opportunity to get into a school and just love on students by serving breakfast. Soon after, we as a church began sending students from the school to Camp Chamisall and students were hearing the gospel. Now when I’m at the school, there’s a buzz each year when the camp forms come out each year. It’s amazing to hear the excitement and feel the energy. We often hear a big “Thank You” from the teachers for what we do in the school and the positive impact serving bagels has made. Some realize that it’s more than bagels; it’s us being the presence of Jesus in the school. When the journey began I had no idea where the school was or that the community was there; now as I drive in the community, God speaks. Often He is tugging on my heart to pray for certain things to happen for certain people. God has opened doors for us as a church in this community and has placed it on the hearts of many to pray for. Will you join us in prayer for God to lead and move in Lynnwood and Ogden? - Jon Caldwell, Jr. High Pastor (JHS)

JULY 11/12, 2015

It all started with a bagel. Three years ago there was a need for help in Sherwood School in

the community of Lynnwood, serving bagels and other breakfast items. I immediately said, “I’m in.” As a youth pastor it’s not easy to get into a school and I saw this as a great opportunity to get into a school and just love on students by serving breakfast.

Soon after, we as a church began sending students from the school to Camp Chamisall and students were hearing the gospel. Now when I’m at the school, there’s a buzz each year when the camp

forms come out each year.
