I know many people are travelling and many others are here in town working—yet all are relishing the days before classes resume. This summer was heavy at times, especially for students enrolled in courses like Thanatology, Substance Abuse, and Multicultural Counseling. We all de- serve a reprieve and need to continue to learn how to take care of ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Extended breaks like this give us the opportunity to figure out what matters to us and what we require to thrive. Let us move forward into the fall semester well rested and ready to pursue excellence in counseling!
