Presidents Report Elections, elections. All done and thanks to the new candidate (Mike Bailey) and the ones who remained – Dallis Smith and Angus Glass. As you may have guessed, your president for 2016 is the guy who writes the report again. So folks let start 2016 with the traditional Open House at Ann and Roger’s the META headquarters. December 12, 2015 starting at 3 pm. Yes the famous world renowned chili feast! Hope to see you all. Banquet Banquet – the META Banquet is January 30, 2016 at Guildford Golf and Country Club. Same location, new hall downstairs. Good food, good company and lots of door prizes. Same price $45 per person. So let’s try to make this year special. If we have 50+ people we get the room at no cost, saving the club $150. Everybody is welcome so bring friends, mother, father, uncle, cousins. Last year we almost made it with 45 people attending. It was a good year – good racing, fairly good weather. But I know 2016 will be much gooder. Membership has already increased by 2 and a META first. One member may join at birth in February when our international member’s daughter arrives. How cool is that! There is some stuff happening in 2016 which is good for our club. We will once again be participating at the 2016 Auto Show at the new Convention Centre. Watch for more details closer to the date. Plus I hear there may be some other opportunities that will be good for META. From the past and the new Executive, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. A Message from the Flag Chief Hello everyone, I would just like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you whom have volunteered at the track this year. Each and every one of you have made the time at the track an amazing experience, through all of you being the most professional with your attitude, experience, and willingness to do whatever you could to help us get through each day at the Race Track. Your ability to take new volunteers in and train and advise them and make their time at the track a great experience. You are an amazing group of people and the track would not work without all of you. So this is just my way of saying Thank You for all you do, thank you for all you will continue to do, thank you for making our track the best it can be with all of you.

Vice-Presidents Report It was a short but good race season. Everyone had lots of fun and came out of it in one piece; except Roger. However we think he will make a full recovery? Roger made some good progress on the META trailer's roof - almost got it done until he fell off the ladder. We will finish the job in the spring. The Randall Building is skirted and it looks great thanks to "Roger" and his crew. I guess you will have to put up with me doing as little as possible as VP next year as I am serving another term. It has been fun getting a little more involved with the club but don't expect any more out of your VP than what he did this year! I think next year is going to be a great year. We are going to need more people to come out for the car shows in March. I hope everyone comes out to the META banquet- it is a lot of fun and the food is Great! I look forward to seeing all of you at the banquet. Looking forward to next season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all,
