Congratulations Father Robert!

25 Years of Priestly Ministry

On Sunday, May 29th, Father Robert returned to his parish of St. Ambrose in Crest Hill, IL to join his

family and parishioners in celebrating his 25th Anniversary of Ordination. It was a beautiful Liturgy

followed by a delicious lunch at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Earlier in the month, during the weekend following our Guardians, Pastors, and Directors Meeting in

Castro Valley, Father Paul conducted a “Come and See” for 4 young men who are currently interested

in learning more about our Order and Province. He was assisted by Frs. Kevin, Alphonse, John, and the

local community in Arroyo Grande.

Lourdes Shrine Dedication: On Mother’s Day, May 8th, the friars and parishioners of St. Paul’s in Pis-

mo Beach gathered to celebrate the newly installed shrine to Our Lady of Lourdes located to the left of

the entrance of the parish hall. Fr. Alphonse represented Fr. Victor Abegg in doing the blessing.

Clergy/Religious Gathering: Two days before the blessing of the Lourdes Shrine, the Friars at Ar-

royo Grande hosted a barbeque for the priest of the Diocese of Monterey and the Archdiocese of

Los Angeles along with our Capuchin brothers from San Lorenzo near Solvang.
