life? Pastor Frank will lead a six week DVD discussion

Over it All Goes Back In the Box.” Meetings are on

Wednesdays, 10-11 AM, and continue this week in the

Learning Center in room 203. There are no materials

Austin Berger, Rosie Cooper, Matthew Light, Riley Powell, Connor

Richter and Emma Stacy will be confirmed today at the 9:30 AM service. We

congratulate each student on completing their two-year study program and ask

God’s blessings on this special day! Our thanks go to Intern Pastor Matthew

Shapton, Shawn Shapton and HSLC Confirmation guides Chloe Flejter, Kelley

Light, Kirsten Randolph, Peter Randolph , John Sasson, and Joann Swift.

the Confirmation students for cake following each service!

PLEASE HELP US CARE FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL OAK TREES

If you look at our oak trees you will see a vine that will eventually kill the

trees. There is no way to stop it other than pull it out. Every two years we have

to pull the vines out. It is very costly and so we do it ourselves. We need

volunteers to work in bucket lifts up in the trees pulling the vines and we need

volunteers working on the ground to put the vines in piles. Please volunteer for

a two hour shift. No experience or tools are required. We will work all day

Friday, Saturday and half the day Sunday, June 7,8, 9. Please sign up on the

patio today or call the church office (561-624-9663).

Philippians 4:6-7 ~ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition,

with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all

understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

SOULFIRE YOUTH MINISTRY

Soulfire Sunday activities will resume on June 2nd. There is no activity today or

over the Memorial Day weekend.

Summer volleyball teams at Trinity United Methodist will begin in June. You

don’t have to have volleyball experience, just a fun loving attitude! Games are

indoors on most Friday evenings throughout the summer. Schedules will be

emailed soon!

Sadly, we have to say goodbye today to our HIS KIDS for the

summer. It has been a blessing and loads of fun to teach the

word of God to your HIS KIDS. They are amazing little people

and I love each of their smiles! Children’s Church at 9:30am will

be in place of HIS KIDS for the summer and we will start back

on our Lutheran adventure in September 2019. But keep a look out for some fun

HIS KIDS family events to keep the little ones close to God and having fun

over the summer. Don’t forget to sign up for our fun VBS ! If you have any

questions over the summer feel free to email me at [email protected] or

just come see me before or after 9:30 service in the Learning Center.

WE NEED YOU! HSLC currently has a shortage of Projection Operators for our worship

services. If you can operate a computer mouse, you can run our projection

system! All projection volunteers will be given 1-on-1 training before being

placed on the schedule. Please let the church office know if you would be

willing to help! 561-624-9663 or [email protected].

VBS REGISTRATION IS FILLING UP!

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM this summer. All children who have

completed VPK—5th grade are invited! Register today at
