Dear Mr. Chairman:

Enclosed is a 1984 amendment to the bilateral agreement with Haiti which I have just notified today to the TSB under separate cover.

This amendment established a specific limit for Category 350 (dressing gowns) at an annual level of 32,149 dozen for the life of the agreement. Consultations had been requested by the U.S. pursuant to Article 3 of the Arrangement on January 31, 1984. The rollback level (YE October 1983) was 18,754 dozen.

Enclosed are copies of the notes giving effect to this amendment.
