The Retreat is a unique conferencing venue situated in a far corner of Boschendal Farm with exquisite mountain views. This secluded venue with its eighteen two bedroom self-catering cottages, communal boma and natural swimming pool o�ers everything including a state of the art indoor screening room. It is ideal for conferencing, team building and strategic executive breakaways.

The Boschendal MTB and hiking trails are easily accessible from the venue. Its large lawns o�er the opportunity to add extra tented accommodation ideal for outdoor events and festivals.

This historic building is a national monument ideal for small functions and conferences. The beautiful private garden behind the Homestead is also often used for welcome drinks and canapés. Situated next to the Rhone Rose Garden Picnic site and The Cellar Door Wine Tasting Room makes it easy for guests to enjoy additional experiences.

The Olive Press with its exposed natural poplar roof trusses, floor to ceiling glass doors and stunning views over meadow gardens and Groot Drakenstein Mountains make for a picturesque conference. The double volume space is the perfect combination of contemporary and organic. The hall covers an area of 340m²and can be divided into two smaller rooms if required.

Up to 150 guests can be seated inside depending on the required layout. A further 80 guests can be seated in the adjoining covered outdoor veranda, weather permitting. To accommodate larger groups a marquee can be placed on the Olive Press lawn (not supplied by venue).

Making a positive impact on our environment and building a sustainable agricultural farm which can flourish for generations to come is at the core of what we believe at Boschendal. Our focus is on providing flavourful and nourishing farm-to-table food and working hard to keep food miles to a minimum. Our menus shift with the seasons as our produce is sustainably grown on the farm or locally sourced.

With such an incredible array of local produce on o�er, our function chef and his team look forward to preparing flavourful farm-to-table food for your conference using the best quality seasonal ingredients.

WERF RESTAURANTSituated in the beautifully revamped original cellar of the Manor House, the focus is on serving innovative farm-to-table cuisine using local, seasonal and ethically-sourced ingredients.

PRIVATE BRAAISample our award-winning grass-fed Angus beef or acorn forest pigs on the spit. Various locations are available for this fire cooking masterpiece, great for corporate team building or just relaxing with colleagues after a long day.

CELLAR & VINEYARD TOURSTour our cellars to experience our wines at their source or embark on a guided tour through the vineyards up to the viewpoint overlooking the entire farm.
