BORDERS inside/outside is a project of dialogue between art, prison and society initiated by Lieux Fictifs from 2009 and which is part of the artistic programming of Marseille-Provence 2013, European capital of Culture. On June 26th and 27th, a professionnal space will be set up in the Seita welcoming room.European participants and film directors will have the possibility to screen their film (TV screen and DVD player) and to organize their meetings.

The European conference on artistic creation with offenders and prisoners is a Lieux Fictifs and Cultures, publics et territoires production in coproduction with Marseille-Provence 2013 and in partnership with La Friche La Belle de Mai.It is organized with the support of the ministry of Justice (Direction of Penitentiary Administration, Regional Direction of Penitentiary services of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Corse, South East Regional Direction of Youth Judicial Protection), of the Ministry of Culture and Communication (General delegation to French language and others France’s languages, Regional Direction of Cultural Affairs of Provence-Alpes-Côte-D’azur, of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, of the Conseil général des Bouches-du-Rhône, of the Fondation de France and the Institut français.

This conference is part of the European « Lifelong learning programme - GRUNDTVIG » of the European Commission.
