CONCLUSION The aim of finding drugs in MK-ULTRA programme was to irresistibly bring out deep confessions or wipe a subject's mind clean and program him or her as "a robot agent.“ But the MK-ULTRA project turned out to be a monstrous failure, in terms of its consequences. In 1977 the U.S. Senate released a report on the findings of Project MK-Ultra, which revealed to the U.S that CIA had indeed been testing on unwitting citizens, and that the tests involved LSD, and there have been known deaths from the activities. But due to the lack of evidences the clear number of deaths still remains uncertain. The revelations/allegations about the CIA and the Army prompted a number of subjects or their survivors to file lawsuits against the federal government for conducting experiments without informed consent. Although several plaintiffs did receive compensation through court order.

CONCLUSION• The aim of finding drugs in MK-ULTRA programme was to irresistibly bring out deep

confessions or wipe a subject's mind clean and program him or her as "a robot agent.“

• But the MK-ULTRA project turned out to be a monstrous failure, in terms of its consequences.

• In 1977 the U.S. Senate released a report on the findings of Project MK-Ultra, which revealed to the U.S that CIA had indeed been testing on unwitting citizens, and that the tests involved LSD, and there have been known deaths from the activities.

• But due to the lack of evidences the clear number of deaths still remains uncertain.

• The revelations/allegations about the CIA and the Army prompted a number of subjects or their survivors to file lawsuits against the federal government for conducting experiments without informed consent.

• Although several plaintiffs did receive compensation through court order.

• MK-Ultra plays a part in many conspiracy theories due to its nature and the destruction of most records.

• The MK-ULTRA project was a failure which led to the termination of the project on all scales.

• The MK-ULTRA project was terminated based on following points:

CIA agents started dosing each other with drugs in the office.

At least one death[Dr. Olson] have resulted from these activities.

Heroin addicts were lured into participating in LSD experiments in order to get a reward — heroin.

• Speaking of today’s scenario YES the project has been abandoned, but It’s unlikely the CIA has terminated all experimental psychological therapy and drug-testing programs.

• As the ever-changing climate of war suggests this type of experimentation isn’t going away anytime soon, either.

• Official documents state Project MK-Ultra was terminated in 1973, although later evidence suggested the program merely continued on under a different name.

IS MK-ULTRA A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY?• The common (false) perception is that U.S. Government scientists are so stupid as to spend over a billion

dollars over a period of 20 years incorporating nearly 100 academic institutions to reach the conclusion that LSD is not particularly effective at controlling peoples' minds (Well in that case- SURPRISE!!!!).

• It is true that using LSD in MK-ULTRA project produces unpredicted results, but this project is not only about LSD/LSD findings.

• In reality, project helped the United States government discovered that psychological torture, rather than physical torture, was far more effective in extracting information (both false and true) and inducing long-term pain in a subject, which could be a useful weapon in the future wars(if any).
