Dark red. Expressive nose with mineral notes recalling pencil lead, cherries, and black fruits. Well-structured, muscular, and mouth-filling with firm, natural tannins, and a long, fruity finish.

Red meats, lamb, rabbit, and game meats such asvenison or boar that are grilled, roasted, or stewed with a bit of acidity (tomato or wine) or herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and bay leaf. Perfect with most cheeses
Soil: Alluvial, rocky, poor in nutrients, and highlypermeable due to the gravel in the sub-soil. The climateis semi-arid Mediterranean. Strongly inluenced by the Andes Mountains and the proximity to the Maipo River. The high daily temperature oscillation helps develop the fruit concentration and intensifies the aromas.
The bunches are selected, destemmed, and gentlydropped into stainless steel tanks for fermentation, which lasts 19–23 days, including a post-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally, and the wine is aged for 14 months, during which time it stabilizes naturally without additionaltreatments. The wine is bottled without filtering.treatments. The wine is bottled without filtering.
