The curriculum is very flexible and many evening classes are convenient for students with full-\time jobs. During my time at Hofstra University, I pursued cyber security and those courses prepared me well for my career in this sector. I had the pleasure of working closely with my research advisor. He was always available for advice, both in and out of the classroom. This is the commitment you can expect from all the faculty at the Computer Science Department. One feature that truly makes this program shine is the many opportunities to network with alumni and professionals that work in the field you desire. This is how I landed my current job in cyber security and how I was able to receive two job offers nearly a year before graduation. Overall, the computer science program features high-caliber professors, exceptional courses, and an enjoyable experience with rewarding career opportunities.” — Mario A.
