Computer Aided Verification of Information Systems:

A Practical Industry-Oriented ApproachRomanian-Austrian Workshop organized by the Institute e-Austria Timişoara

Purposes

• present the main verification techniques and the work of project researchers

to specialists from industry,

• initiate a discussion about the possible industrial applications of the research.

Two parts:

1. present the institute and the basics of IeAT research project to industry,

and to get some feed-back in the panel discussion.

2. present the technical approach, both to all the researchers, but also to the industry

• kernel of an IT Techonology Park (2003) • pilot project funded mainly by Austrian Ministery of Economy, Austrian Ministery of Science, Romanian Ministery of Education and Research.

Long-term goals of the project

• create an environment for high-quality research and technology-transfer in the field of Information Technologies

• stimulate the scientific, technological, and economic cooperation between Romania and Austria.
