D205 SS CDT Timeline
2018-19
SS CDT Phase II: Develop Curriculum
SS CDT develop curriculum units and common assessments, and identify resources to utilize.
2017-18
SS CDT Phase I: Professional Learning
Representatives from all grade levels convene to participate in professional learning on the C3 Framework and IL SS Standards. SS CDT lays the groundwork for curriculum writing.
2016-17
SS CDT: Preparation & Planning
Key curriculum leaders learn about College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) and Illinois Social Science Standards
2019-20
SS CDT Phase III: Implementation
All D205 staff implement SS curriculum. Educators develop daily lesson plans and continually refine instructional practices.
