Presentation Talking-Points
• Course Success is again at a record since OCCC began tracking in FY 2006. An increase of .4 percentage points since last year and up 5.9 percentage points since FY 2011.
• High level success gaps from course level data have narrowed significantly over the past 5 years while also increasing as a whole. (Ex: Online vs. Traditional, Developmental vs. Course Level, etc)
• Success gaps vary widely for individual courses depending on online/traditional offerings and the duration of course.
• Overall course success by demographics has increased at roughly same rates as overall success, but only in a few areas (income, age for example) have the gaps narrowed significantly in the past few years.
