Question: Do I need someone to complete me? For us as humans to be complete and receive exaltation and eternal life we need to get married in the temple. As I was pondering this question I had many thoughts come to me as well. Husbands and wives each have there own responsibilities that only they can truly fulfill. Both husband and wife need each other to have a family. As each one of them does there part, that is when they are able to begin to fill the measure of their creation. Just getting married does not make you complete. If a spouse chooses not to do there part then neither the husband nor the wife can fully feel the blessing that have been offered to them in this life. It requires both husband and wife to walk side-by-side helping each other to find the peace and joy that can come through marriage.
