This Interactive course is designed to train staff to become a Competent Person in

A). Basic Forecourt Safety Training - includes Legal Requirements

B). Assisted Delivery

C). Driver Controlled/Unassisted Delivery

The course promotes a pro-active approach towards safety on the forecourt and can be used to help foster and develop this attitude change amongst the entire forecourt team and bring safety to everyone.

The course covers why Health and Safety is so important it also highlights the dangers that staff may face at work and their responsibilities for ensuring the safety of everyone on the Forecourt. This course includes Vapour recovery, the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) and the change to an approved Code of Practice (ACOP).

It also covers the possibility that a Petroleum Officer may be an Environmental Health Officer in some areas and the need for Site Specific information.

• Progress and achievement that is measurable.

• Recorded evidence of training covering safe working practice and legal compliance.

• Course accreditation can either be in - house or external (e.g. RoSPA,IOSH or CPD) depending on your particular requirements.
