Case: Delivery in downtown Manhattan, NY

Situation: A new customer called with a request to expedite a project shipment to

downtown Manhattan, NY. The cargo had to be partly stored there and partially

delivered directly

Action Taken: Our specialist worked out the details in collaboration with our

specialized partner in New York. All options were communicated directly with the

customer

The Result:

• Pre-transport: Open top containers with side loaders were loaded at the

customer's place and delivered to the terminal in Rotterdam

• Transportation from Rotterdam to New York

• Post-transport: Open top containers with an overhead crane unloaded in the

warehouse of our New York partner. The majority was placed in storage

• During the execution of the project in downtown Manhattan the required

materials were transported with flatbed trucks and delivered 'just in time' on

request
