We are Woodward Group, an electricalcontractor, fire and security systems provider well positioned to offer leading edge solutions to all markets.

Established in 1987 in Swadlincote, Derbyshire Nr Burton on Trent. Woodward Group has over 30 years experience in delivering high quality services to enable clients to meet the growth challenges of quality and safety. We handle an extensive list of professional services in-house, providing our customers with a single source service for the design,installation and maintenance integrated systems and solutions covering all industrial sectors. HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

It is the policy of Woodward Group to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and subsequent legislation, and provide and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

We aim to minimise the number of health & safety and environmental incidents and ultimately to achieve an incident-free working environment. We recognise and accept our duty to protect the health and safety of all visitors to thecompany, including sub-contractors and temporary workers, as well as any members of the public who might be affected by our operations. Our health, safety and environmental policy will be continually monitored and updated to ensure continual improvement of the management systems. The policy will be updated at least every 12 months.

Client: Tradeteam DHLProject: Energy Efficient Lighting SchemeRequirements: ElectricalContractor: Woodward GroupInformation: Our design team worked closely with Tradeteam, a part of DHL, to produce a lighting scheme based on energy savings and CO2 emissions that was in line with the office layout with an estimated saving of 30% per annum. Final calculations concluded that our scheme had realised energy savings of 40% per annum.

Client: Fiducia Estates LtdProject: Plan, Design and Install electrical system and intruder alarms for 12 new build executive homesRequirements: Electrical 1st and 2nd fix Installation, testing and commissioningContractor: Woodward GroupInformation: Fiducia Estates approached Woodward Group as their first choice due to our reputation in the marketplace. our scope was to completely install all electrical systems onsite for 12 new executive homes installing electrical distribution, telephone, television cabling, containment, power, lighting and intruder alarms. As with all house builds, we worked alongside all other trades and completed the installation, testing and commissioning within time and with no variations.

Client: Bombardier Transportation UKProject: Refurbishment of two assembly bays for the bespoke Crossrail CarriagesRequirements: Electrical InstallationContractor: Woodward GroupInformation: We have a long-standing working relationship with Bombardier Transportation site in Derby predominantly undertaking maintenance works and compliance testing for the company. This project comprised of project management and installation of Zucchini Bus-Bar trunking, installing Schneider Distribution System and Eaton LED Lighting and Emergency Lighting. The project was successfully finished on time, within budget and all final testing and commissioning completed with no issues or alterations.

Client: Rolls RoyceProject: Coolant Tank Pumping SystemRequirements: Electrical Control and InstallationContractor: Fuchs LubricantsInformation: We were commissioned by Able Engineering LTD to undertake the project management, design, manufacture, installation and commissioning for a Coolant Tank Pump-ing System for topping up coolant on multi-axis CNC machinery.

Our electrical specialist worked seamlessly with the production staff to create serviceable solutions in difficult, high risk environments, meeting the latest guidelines and company health and safety compliance, whilst still maintaining live service with minimal disruption to the business.

Client: Radius Systems Project: 110v InstallationRequirements: ElectricalContractor: Woodward GroupInformation: Working on a new multi million pound production area was a challenging task for the team and all involved. Communication was key to maintaining production while installing containment from exiting installations, to supply low voltage safety sockets while still maintaining compliance within the companyʼs high health and safety standards.We respond-ed quickly to the challenge and completed the project within the time frame. Our team was able to project manage to ensure a quality finish that met our clients high standard.

Client: Foreign and Commonwealth Offices, Whitehall, LondonProject: Electrical TestingRequirements: ElectricalContractor: Interserve Site ServicesInformation: We completed a fixed electrical wiring inspection and testing project at the Foreign & Commonwealth Offices in London. Intense security measures and stringent times-cales were adhered to throughout the project. Our engineers worked to the highest standards with minimal disruption to the client.

Client: ETA Prcocess PlantProject: Vacuum Desecration PlantRequirements: Manufacture and Commissioning of PlantContractor: Able EngineeringInformation: Our scope of works was to install containment alongside the installation and fabrication of pipe work, working from a specification and 3D construction modeling. Close co-ordination with all parties was crucial in the successful completion as there were a number of trades involved.

Client: Longcliffe QuarryProject: Blending Process Control SystemRequirements: Control System Design, Electrical Installation and CommissioingContractor: Woodward GroupInformation: We designed and installed a control system for a static-stonegrading and processing system at Longcliffe quarry. Working closely with the production engineer, we produced a process specification that included conveyor sequencing, integrated control onto existing SCADA and conveyor control systems.
