environmental conditions are abnormal and can jeopardize the results of the
calibrations. Laboratory controls the access and use of areas affecting the
quality of calibration. Laboratory ensures good housekeeping in the
laboratory using housekeeping checklist (HKC-01).

Calibration services The GIFTS Calibration quality system is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
The management system requirements in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (sec. 4) are
written pertinent to laboratory operations and also meet the requisites of
ISO9001:2008 Quality Management Systems Requirements. This allows us to
only to use the state-of-the-art Portable Calibrators, Transfer standards,
Simulators; workstations based calibration that precisely calibrates the field
Testing and measuring instrument.
Our Calibrations are traceable to internationally accepted standards like NIST,
NBS, etc Our Reference equipment can calibrate all critical & non-critical units,
classified as Loop calibration, Individual instrument calibration, bench
calibration, filed calibration and references are selected as per the NIST, UKAS,
EN, ANSI, NCSL standards.
GIFTS Calibration Laboratories are capable of parameters like Electronic,
mechanical, dimensional, Analytical, temperature, pressure, mass, flow, force,
humidity, air velocity, light & torque. Page 11 of 31
In-situ & Onsite calibration services
Our On-site (in-situ) calibration service verifies the performance of the DUT within its
normal operating conditions. The service not only verifies the T&M instrument, but also
takes into account any installation problems such as entrained air or poor installation –
utilizing the experience and knowledge of our test engineers to trouble shoot any
measurement or metering issues, such as inaccurate batch control problems. Inventory
is taken of your instruments to determine the condition and frequency of calibration
required A Technician arrives at your site when required to
perform these calibrations, leaving you with a Calibration Certificate and up to date
Calibration sticker affixed to the instrument. If the instrument needs repair,
replacement, or relocation, this service can be performed during this process.

One way to save time and cost during construction of your project is to have
your instruments calibrated prior to installation. We call this "Bench
Calibration" as our calibration facility is set up on site and staffed with
technicians. We take care and custody of your instruments. We then calibrate,
certify and document every instrument. Generally, calibration can be done
quicker prior to its installation.
