COMPANY

VISION “Lightness; Quickness; Exactitude; Visibility; Multiplicity; Consistency” (Six memos for the next millenium – I. Calvino, 1988)

MISSION To operate in the international market by providing high quality consulting, design, and planning services able to combine the infrastructural, technological, and urban development needs with the essential requirements of environmental resources protection and enhancement .To contribute in every project to the defi nition of new environmental protection standards in line with up-to-date scientifi c literature and exploiting state-of-the-art technologies.

HISTORY SEAcoop was originally born in 1982 in Turin as a spin-off of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences thanks to the initiative of a group of young researchers. In 1992 a second offi ce in Piedmont was opened.Since 2007 SEAcoop is part of T.A.I.G.A., a Consortium with Geoengineering, a company operating in the fi eld of geology, and Aleph, an architecture and engineering company. TAIGA can count for its consulting services on a highly qualifi ed multidisciplinary, fl exible, and versatile team.Since 2012 SEAcoop works in the Balkans with TerEn-Cons d.o.o., a consulting company based in Serbia and controlled by Seacoop.

ACTIVITIES Since its foundation Seacoop has established a notable and sound reputation as environmental counsulting company specialized in services related to the relation-ship between human activities and agricultural-forestry ecosystems and to the renaturation of degraded areas. In the Nineties, a new business unit was created within the company, specialized in environmental impact asses-sment and environmental monitoring. This supported the planning and realization of some of the major Italian transportation infrastructures’ projects.Following the debate about urban ecology and the rela-tionship between urban and rural areas, SEAcoop has set up a working group dedicated to urban and landscape design. Today this represents an important company asset. The environmental emergency deriving from primary resources progressive consumption recently led the company to develop its consulting services in the fi eld of renewable energies.
