DSG is a heavy equipment manufacturer originated from a family business founded in 1903, which
specializes in the design, manufacture, in-plant installation, start up and optimization of complex me-
chanical and thermal-mechanical systems for bulk solid material conveying and treatment.

The Company started operations in a 400m2 facility located in Alicante city (Spain), working mainly on the
design and construction of pumping systems, driving systems and fishing nets handling systems of fishing
boats. The operation is concentrated in southern Spain customers with equipment up to 5.000 kg.

The second family generation broadened the technical
capabilities of the company and ventured in the world of
granite and natural stone, building their first machinery for
cutting, calibration and polishing of granite and marble.
Such business activity remained as one of the main mar-
kets of the company until year 1980, counting more than
2.000 machines manufactured until that date all around
Spain, progressively increasing its productive facilities over
1.000m2, delivering equipment up to 20.000Kg.
Second family generation

1960
The third family generation in continuous improvement of
its technical and productive capabilities started the devel-
opment of its first bulk material conveying equipment for
the non-metallic mining and ceramic industry, introducing
the belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, pri-
mary and secondary shredders, impact crushers, hammer
mills, ball mills, bar mills, vibratory screens, rotary screens,
single and dual axis mixers among many other specialized
bulk material process equipment.
This product line remains constantly improved up to date,
counting more than 5.000 delivered machines for the min-
ing and ceramic markets in Spain, Morocco, Turkey, Algeria,
Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile,
United States, etc. The production facilities were increased
to 1,800 m2 with equip- ment up to 100,000Kg.
The third family generation

1980
The fourth generation expanded the company ́s machinery market
to the plaster, lime and cement industries, mastering and improv-
ing the bulk material conveying ma- chinery and adding new bulk
processing machinery like direct and indirect drying drums, cool-
ing drums, high efficiency precision blenders, integrated weighting
systems and semi-automated packaging systems.
This product line is produced up to date with more than 3.000
delivered equipment for customers in Spain, Morocco, Turkey, Al-
geria, Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Unit-
ed States, Canada, Russia, United Kingdom. The productive facili-
ties were increased to 3.800m2 with equipment up to 150.000Kg.
The fourth family generation

The fifth familiy generation increased the technical and productive
company capabilities extending the activity to equipment for the recy-
cling industry , solid urban and Industrial Waste , plastics, bio- mass,
non ferrous waste, paper and cardboard, sewage sludge and waters
treatments, among oth- er equipments. Latest developments of the
Company are focused on design and construction of equipment for
handling, conveying and processing of bulk alternative fuels for cement
plants fur- naces. In addition to the traditional conveying equipment the
company develops customized solu- tions on chain conveyors (redlers),
bucket conveyor, shredders, multi-rotor disc screens, multi- rotor screw
feeders, reception bunkers and silos, moving floor silos, magnetic sep-
arators, Foucault separators, optical separators with robotized material
sorters.
This activity involves more than 8.000 delivered equipments for direct
customers or through third party integrators for the recycling and alter-
native fuels industries in different markets in Spain, Morocco, Turkey,
Algeria, Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Peru,
United States, Canada, Russia, United Kingdom, France, Siberia, Viet-
nam, Thailand, South Africa, Angola, Isarrael, etc, The current produc-
tive facilities reach 8.000 m2 in three different locations.

WELDED COMPONENTS
Every welded structural component in our equipment are
built in our facilities by highly qualified welders by means of
MAG-MIG-TIC welding processes. The frames of our conveyors,
feeders, shredders, and other heavy size equipment are welded
from structural steel previously cutted by plasma or laser means
and precisely shaped by cold forming.

some of our equipments, with our in-house developed methods,

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Every Project we develop, starts with the fully understanding of all the
processes the bulk material will follow from the entrance to the working
chamber until it reaches the delivering stage, considering the different
parameters describing the material behavior (like grain size, shape fac-
tor, apparent and specific density, elastic modulus, cracking limit, mois-
ture content, abrasiveness, adherence, temperature, calorific value,
stacking coefficient static-dinamic, and many other physi- cal properties
of the material) then, after gathering the information, it can be defined
the mechanical performance of the equipment, like the power driving
and transmission.
Our experience-based knowledge and the following of our good
practice rules are fundamental to achieve the optimal volumetric and
energetic performance in every equipment. This knowledge is the fruit
of the work of several generations dedicated to the development and
continuous improvement of our products in the field of the bulk mate-
rials conveying and processing, and they are a key to make possible the
high quality, reliability and effectivity of our products.

3D CAD MACHINERY
Every DSG equipment is modeled in 3D CAD by using Autodesk
Inventor software, reducing enormously the time to market
in our products, allowing us reaching precise assembly and
manufacturing tolerances, which are critical for the success on
the equipment performance and the easiness on installing and
de-installing operations on customer plants, reducing the risk
of costly failures and delays.

We have recently incorporated the 3d Scanning capability
in order to allow us to integrate our 3D models into the
3D customer plant information before the equip- ments
are manufactured, saving time and money.

The resistance and deformation of critical elements are
calculated by means of FEM software integrated in CAD,
obtaining parametrized information, easy to up- date
after design modifications, allowing us to obtain technical
informs from our team in case it is required.

Our engineering team uses different software solutions
for the dimensioning and selection of the critical elements
like the transmission elements like pulleys, gear, chains,
etc , and joint elements like rivets, welding or bolted
joints, some of these solutions being provided by our
suppliers or by modules integrated in our CAD system like
Kiss-Soft, in order to shorten the involved calculation and
to ensure the selected elements cover all the mechanical
requirements.
