Introduction to BSL Logistics BSL Logistics is a premier player in the busy transport environment.

CARGO CONSOLIDATION Cargo consolidation ensure a more cost effective means of transporting your less than

full load requirements. Dedicated personnel ensure a solution drive approach to every

consignment.

BSL is equipped to either collect or receive items. One of our functions is to ensure that

cargo is adequately packed and suitably marked, in accordance with client’s specific in-

structions.

Using our own handling equipment, we professionally pack and unpack shipping con-

tainers. Digital photographic files are kept as a permanent record at crucial stages of the

operation.

Cost efficiency is one of the many goals of cargo consolidation. BSL’s strict policy of

complete transparency in quoting and accounting procedures assures the client of no

unpleasant surprises, while a dedicated approach to business ensures solution orientat-

ed plans for the job on hand .

BSL’ is located in Apex Benoni, this site includes an extensive yard, suited to general

transport requirements as well as container handling applications. In addition to office

buildings, the property also houses expansive warehousing and handling facilities, as indi-

cated below.

OVERBORDER TRANSPORTING

Daily status reports are issued which track the consignment through to final destination.

BSL currently operates an overnight delivery service to points within Botswana, ranging

from 1 ton to 24 ton loads on a dedicated vehicle basis.

With the assistance of our solid subcontractor base, we deliver full truck loads from

South Africa to points within Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique,

Swaziland and Lesotho. Our overborder service includes the delivery of abnormal

loads.

WAREHOUSING AND DISTRIBUTION

BSL specialises in complete warehousing and distribution solutions

that meet individual client requirements – and budgets

Whatever the challenge, BSL Logistics is geared towards providing an indi-

vidual answer to all warehousing and distribution requirements. Projects can

be handled either on an ad hoc basis or on contract. In the latter situation,

BSL will conduct feasibility studies and offer a turnkey solution, or manage

only certain components of the plan, as directed by the client.

At our premises in Apex Benoni we provide temporary storage facility for

more than 350 containers at any given time. As containers arrive, they are un-

packed and checked into stock. BSL have substantial warehousing and stor-

age facilities and are furnished with modern equipment to cope with every

eventuality. BSL personnel provide container stuffing and de-stuffing services.

We are based in Apex Benoni, in close proximity to all the main arterial

routes and distribution areas. The movement of freight ,cargo and equip-

ment has become an every day bare necessity.

With the help of our experience team we can arrange all your transportation

needs, locally, nationally and across the border.

The transportation of abnormal loads have different requirements. Varying

factors like maximum mass distribution, gross combination weights, width

and height, are all factors that have to be considered.
