At Chemtec Energy Services, we play an important role in Keeping our World Moving by providing the energy industry with solutions in measurement and control systems for the critical transport along with performance additives and markers of liquids and gas.

Located just North of Houston, near I-45, our state-of-the-art facility is situated on 15 acres complete with laydown and storage areas and a total of 50,000 square footage of manufacturing and fabrication space on leveled concrete floors under roof.

We also provide hydro testing, x-ray, paint, galvanizing and even factory acceptance testing with flow capability. With our high hook height bridge cranes there is no need to schedule around weather or crane availability.

We employ a staff with extensive knowledge and a combined tenure of 240 years of experience in the petroleum industry.

Our professional team offers true turn-key solutions for its products including P&ID design, Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling, project management, installation, support, service and maintenance.

PRODUCT LOADING & OFF-LOADING SKIDS

Shop fabricated skids from Chemtec are an ideal way to control costs, ensure timely delivery, and minimize cost. From initial product design through onsite startup/ commissioning, Chemtec offers the industry’s most complete package from start to finish.

All Chemtec skids are built to meet specific customer requirements. A modular design ensures the product can be easily packed and shipped to the customer’s site via truck, rail, or cargo ship. Chemtec skids are also designed to minimize reassembly and startup expense once the skids are delivered on site.

Chemtec works closely with all major equipment suppliers including Emerson, Daniel, SICK, E&H, KROHNE, FMC Smith Meter, Idex, Brodie, OPW, Emco Wheaton, Civicon, Scully, FMO, JP3, Envent and YZ Systems.

All welding, assembly and testing is performed at Chemtec’s modern facility. Quality is ensured since all structural welding, pipe welding and product assembly is performed by qualified and experienced Chemtec employees.

LIQUID AND GAS METERING SKIDS

Metering applications require specialized skills to ensure the safe transportation and accurate measurement of liquid & gas products. Custom fabricated metering skids from Chemtec are an ideal way to meet these objectives.

Chemtec metering skids are fabricated and assembled at Chemtec’s Willis, Texas facility. All welding is performed by certified welders and then tested per customer requirements. The finished skids are delivered to the jobsite completely assembled, painted, and tested, resulting in considerable time and cost savings versus field fabrication. In fact, shop fabricated skids are typically 25% less expensive than an identical field fabricated skid.

ETHANOL AND BIO DIESEL BLENDERS

Chemtec ethanol blenders are flexible in design and offer a wide range of component selection. Unlike competing products that are highly inflexible, Chemtec ethanol blenders are designed to meet all user-defined specifications for product design, flow meter, control valve, and controller selection.

The flexible design ensures that each blender meets the requirements of the project- not the blending limitations of the manufacturer. Each blender is designed to provide the user with a prefabricated, complete, stand-alone solution for blending ethanol. Chemtec blenders provide for 1-4 streams and may be fabricated in the vertical or horizontal plane. Blend control may be provided by the Chemtec MicroPAC blend controller or a customer specified controller.

ADDITIVE, DYE AND ETHYL MERCAPTAN INJECTION SYSTEMS

SAMPLING SYSTEMChemtec Energy Services develops sampling systems that accurately extract, monitor, and record the entire liquid hydrocarbons sampling process from start to finish.

VR-22 SAMPLE GRABBER

Chemtec’s VR-22 is a spring loaded positive displacement sample grabber utilizing a piston/cylinder assembly. This design offers several advantages over traditional diaphragm samplers while still offering a low cost solution for sampling. The sampler includes a stainless steel body, electric 3-way solenoid valve, needle valve, and inlet probe. The optional confirmation switch can be used to send a confirmation signal at the completion of each sample.

IsoFLOW PROBE™

The IsoFLOW Probe is a patent pending device developed by Chemtec to produce a sample transport line or slipstream in order to utilize a sample device, densitometer, or any other analytical instrument used to qualitatively and/or quantitatively analyze samples or the chemical makeup of a sample and the quantity of each component within a sample. The device is available in 3 sizes based on main line size (2” – 42”), length of probe, and flow though the main line. Full CFD Flow Analysis, Wake Frequency, and Critical Velocity Calculations were performed to ensure functionality as well as each unit being hydrotested.

SMART SAMPLER SYSTEM

The Chemtec Smart Sampling System answers the need for improved sample size and frequency while delivering adjustable sample grabs. The system is easy to install, clean and maintains over time, keeping product moving with little interruption and negates the need to shutdown and drain the entire skid as it can be isolated and repaired while the line maintains full pressure.

Additionally, it provides instant alarm notification upon a sampling failure. Utilizing a high-resolution positive displacement flowmeter, the Smart Sampling System is extremely accurate and dependable. The Smart Sampling System was designed to meet the new API8.2 standards.

COMPOSITE SAMPLER CONTAINER AND CIRCULATION SYSTEM

The Chemtec 944 Composite Sampler Container and Circulation System allow operators to accurately collect, store, and recirculate crude oil in a low pressure environment. The Receiver/Pump Skid is designed to support LACT/ACT units, truck loading/unloading, pipeline systems, marine terminal operations, or for allocation purposes.

FIELD SERVICES

Chemtec’s Field Service and Support group provides onsite project management, installation services and technical support for many of the products we sell. Chemtec maintains two fully equipped enclosed trailers plus additional equipment necessary to quickly mobilize an installation crew to any jobsite.

Chemtec installation crews can perform on-site electrical and mechanical work in addition to pipe and tube welding. Chemtec, working as a general contractor, can also manage entire construction projects from inception through implementation.
