TRENDS IN THE TOTAL GHG EMISSIONSTRENDS IN THE TOTAL GHG EMISSIONS
Total GHG emissions per sectors for 1988 – 2008, Gg CO2 - eq.
In 1988 the GHG emissions were 128015.2 Gg CO2 – equivalent (Gg CO2 - eq.), dropping to 74317.8 Gg CO2 - eq. in 2008.The biggest share in the total GHG emissions for the 2008 – 69.5 % belongs to “Energy” sector. Second is the “Waste” with 14 % of the National emissions, while third is “Industry Processes” – 8.7 %.

The level of the PM10 air pollution is basic problem before the air quality on the whole country territory. The trend is kept throughout the years. In almost all the stations for a period of one year more than the accepted 35 exceedings of the daily norm were measured.
