Case Study

Our administration team will go through the plans, purchase orders and specifiications with a fine tooth comb to ensure nothing is missed or left to chance during the project. Plans are marked up and important site specific notes are recorded in AroFlo.

Every stage of plumbing is just as important as the next. That is why we never go into any task unsure on what needs to be done.

Our drains are marked up on plans and double checked onsite so that the points are in the correct location before the concrete slab is poured.

At the water ruff-in stage our tradesmen have all the information they need to ensure every fixture is setup to the specifications setout out in the plans and manufacture requirements.

When it comes to the gas ruff-in all codes are followed closely so when it is booked in to fit-off the installation will comply with current standards.

As the project draws to an end it is time for the final fit out. All the hard work and attention to detail in the previous tasks makes the fit-out a breeze.

Once all the previous tasks have been completed and inspected it is time for to book the council plumbing final. This is to ensure the plumbing installation meets the AS3500 standards.

AK Gas and Plumbing do not issue the final invoice for the project until we receive the compliance certificate from the council. This is another thing we do to make sure the project is completed and handover to the client is a simple process.

When we receive the go ahead for a new project you can rest assured that it is in good hands. Our administration team will get the ball rolling by submitting the Form 7 with council, making AK Gas and Plumbing the responisble plumber for the project.


Our ProcessesFrom the moment you send us a new project to the moment you receive the final clearance certificate you can rest assured that your project will be a top priority.

The processes we have developed keep every job accounted for.

THE PROCESS OF A TYPICAL PROJECT:

1Job folders are created, location and tasks entered in to AroFlo.

2All required documents are submitted to council or other required authorities.

3Every task to complete during the project is then created before the job starts.

4Photos, notes and checklists are added to tasks throughout the project.

5Event messages go out to client supervisors and/or their admin staff to make them aware of any issues on site and to alert them of certain milestones they wish to be notified about.

6As the project comes to an end, our systems will flag any outstanding items to ensure the project is fully completed.

7 8All compliance docouments are completed and council inspections carried out.

Tasks are not invoiced until they have their council inspections and certificates received. This ensures you have received exactly what you have paid for.
