The following procedure allows updating the ECU parametersconcerning engine oil quality / ageing. Carry out this procedure after each engine oil replacement.WARNING:Once the procedure has been completed, switch ignition off and wait atleast 40 seconds for POWER LATCH completion(old data will be erased and new values written down in the ECU ).


ALFA ROMEO – MITO ENGINE MANAGEMENT 1.6 Diesel MJETLearnt functions reset


This procedure allow to clear the ECU’s learnt functions / configuration, like for example: clima, cruise, trasmission, abs, ecc.

Example: Presence of manual gear will be automatically dectected by clutch pedal pulled / released.

Presence of cruise control will be automatically detected once activated.


ALFA ROMEO – MITO ENGINE MANAGEMENT 1.6 Diesel MJETComponents replacement


This procedure allows the ECU to learn parameters concerning the components below, in case of its replacement.The procedure is automatic and the same for :- Rail pressure sensor- E.G.R. (Exaust Gas Recirculation)- O2 sensor- M.A.F. ( Manifold Air Flow )- D.P.F.E. ( Differential Pressure Feedback on Exausts)



ALFA ROMEO – MITO ENGINE MANAGEMENT 1.6 Diesel MJETInjectors codingThis procedure allows storing in the ECU each individualcylinder’s injector code in case of its replacement.

Through this, the ECU can manage in the optimal way theinjection time according to the new injectors and the presentengine status.Usually the codes are supplied with the injectors, but in anycase printed on each injector body.

At the beginning of the procedure, just introduce the code and confirm.


AUDI A3 2007 > 2008SERVICE (Gasoline – Diesel version)Longlife / Standard Service configuration

This function allows to set the dashboard maintenance indicator with the Kilometers/time

prearranged by the manufactorer in two differents modality LONGLIFE or STANDARD.

Automatically are setted up the value below:

- Oil quality: Longlife

- Driven KM/miles minimun value: 15000/9300

- Driven KM/miles maximun value : 30000/18600

- Elapsed time minimun value: 365 days;

- Elapsed time maximun value : 730 days.

WARNING: this procedure modify only the type of the maintenance (normal / LONGLIFE); for reset

the dashboard maintenance indicator to perform the function: “Reset. Km prox. Service".



AUDI A3 2007 > 2008SERVICE (Gasoline – Diesel version)Time/distance service reminder configuration

This function allows to set the service reminder indicator in

therms of time/distance.

In this way the maintenance warning will appear after

15000 Km (9300 miles) or 1 year from the last performed service.



AUDI A3 2007 > 2008SERVICE REMINDER (Gasoline – Diesel version)KM/Mi Reset for next Service

This function allows to reset back to the factory default the

dashboard maintenance/service indications.

WARNING:

This procedure cannot modify the range from a service to

the next one.

Settings can be changed performing the following available

functions :

“Time/distance service reminder configuration“ and

" Longlife/standard service configuration “



CITROEN C4PEUGEOT 307 RestylingAIRBAGECU Unlock

This procedure allows to enable the standard operating of the ECU.

This procedure is needed in case of ECU replacement, due to the

fact that new airbag ECUs are locked by default by the

manufacturer, to prevent any accidental explosion if working on

or near the airbag system devices.



CITROEN C4PEUGEOT 307 RestylingAIRBAGECU configuration

This procedure allows the airbag system configuration in order tounits/sensors installed on the vehicle.It consists of enabling/disabling each units/sensors by followingthe available components list. It is suggested to note units/sensors enabled on the old ECU (having a look at live data items) to configure the new ECU like theold one.

During the procedure, all the possible options will be shown:just choose "V" key if the unit/sensor is present on the vehicle, otherwise "X" key if not.

CITROEN C4PEUGEOT 307 RestylingAIRBAGECU configuration

WARNING !

This configuration is mandatory for a good functionality of the

Airbag system;

It means that ALL installed components in the vehicle must be

enabled.

This procedure is considered under fully responsibility

of the operator.



CITROEN Xsara 2 / Xsara PicassoPEUGEOT 307 / 307 Restyling, 308,Nouvelle 406, 407, PartnerKey coding

This function allows to code new keys as well as already programmedkeys (used keys) but stored in the ECU memory.Don’t forget that NO MORE than a MAX of 5 keys are accepted by the system.Once the function has run, the system asks for the security code(PIN).

WARNING:Please mind that introducing wrong security code will lock the ECU !Carefully FOLLOW all shown messages step by step by the tool during the procedure.



CITROEN Xsara 2 / Xsara PicassoPEUGEOT 307 / 307 Restyling, 308,Nouvelle 406, 407, PartnerRemote controls coding

The procedure must be manually performed, just follow one by one the steps below:1) Swich ignition off, leave out the key.2) Wait one minute and don’t touch any key in any remote control. 3) Insert a key and switch ignition on .4) Within 10 seconds, press and hold the doors LOCK key for 5 seconds5) Switch ignition off and leave out the key.6) For remaining keys, just repeate the procedure from step 3 on, otherwise go to

step 77) Wait for 30 seconds; after that, the remotes will be activated.

WARNING: If step 4 not perfomed on time, the Body Computer will start the “antiscanning mode” for one minute;during this time it is impossible to code the remotes.



CHEVROLET CAPTIVA ’08 > TIRE PRESSURE OMRONSensors Learning


The procedure allows the learning of all tire pressure sensor by the ECU.To do it, just follow the instruction below:

1. Run the function.

2. Within 2 minutes go to the LEFT FRONT wheel and activate the sensor code trasmission by using the proper tool.

3. Confirmation of the transmission code activation is shown by a blink of the correspondent turn light indicator (L.F., L.R., R.R, R.L.)

4. A briefly horn activation means that the code is learnt

5. Continue clockwise with the remaining wheels (L.R., R.R, R.L.) repeating all steps from #2 on

6. A double briefly horn activation confirms that the last sensor code is learnt and the procedure is successfully completed.


DACIA LOGAN ’07 >AIRBAGECU lock / unlock

This function allows to enable/disable the standard ECU operating before any intervention or maintenance on airbag system, to prevent any accidental explosion if working onor near the airbag system devices.

WARNING:This procedure is needed in case of ECU replacement, due to thefact that new airbag ECUs are locked by default by the manufacturer.



LANCIA DELTA ‘08ABSSensors calibration • Yaw• G-sensors (lateral + longitudinal)• Brake pressure

Through this function it is possible to perform the sensors calibration.It is needed in case of ECU or sensors replacement.The procedure must be done with vehicle stopped and placed on a flatsurface.



LANCIA DELTA ‘08ABSSpeed sensor Learning

This procedure allows to learn by the ECU which type of speedsensor is installed on the vehicle:- normal type- intelligent type for the semiautomatic parking aid



LANCIA DELTA ‘08ABSConfiguration Learning

This procedure allows ABS ECU configuration learning by theBody Computer, and it is needed in case of ECU replacement.

LANCIA DELTA ‘08ELECTRIC POWER STEERINGSteering wheel angle sensor calibration

This procedure allows to calibrate the mentioned sensor,and it must be done each time in case of sensor replacement,wheel alignment or any intervention on the Directional Tread. Is possible to carry out the procedure only with the condition below:- only for vehicles equipped by ESP- vehicle stopped- no faults in memory- vehicle must be placed on a flat surfaceCentrally align wheels and steering wheel, then perform theprocedure.To check if the procedure completion has been successfully done,drive the vehicle at 30km/h (20mph), then steering fully left and rightand check that steering wheel come back to its central position(+/- 20 degrees).



LANCIA DELTA ‘08ELECTRIC POWER STEERINGAssembling check

This procedure allows to detect any faults of electric powersteering assembling .Proceed as described below:- centrally align wheels and steering wheel- fully steering left and right- come back to the central position



Mercedes A-Class 169 ’08 >ELECTRIC POWER STEERINGSteering torque sensor calibration


Through this function it is possible to perform automatically the calibration of the steering torque sensor.

Centrally align wheels and leave the steering wheel with no any applied load.Wrong calibration will cause steering wheel hardness when moving it in one direction ( left or right).Proper values at procedure completion: 0,0 Nm +/- 0,2 .


OPEL ANTARA ’08 > TIRE PRESSURE OMRONSensors Learning


The procedure allows the learning of all tire pressure sensor by the ECU.To do it, just follow the instruction below:

1. Run the function.

This function allows the UCH ECU configuration concerning immobilizer/coded key. A valid and already coded key is needed, together with a “repair code” that can be found through the official network providing the VIN number.

Follow carefully the instructions on the screen; in case of faults during the procedure, the following message can be displayed :1 = UCH already stored. Proceed with key coding. Once finished, it will be possible to proceed with key coding, using the proper function.



RENAULT CLIO II ’03 > UCH (Body Computer)Key coding

This function allows the key coding new keys as well as already programmed keys (used keys) but stored in the ECU memory.A “repair code” is needed, and it can be found through the official network providing the VIN number.Follow carefully the instructions on the screen; in case of faults during the procedure, the following messages can be displayed:1 = procedure stopped: warning ! the assigned keys for this vehicle are the same as before starting the procedure. All keys coded before the procedure interruption are not stored, and cannot be assigned to this vehicle2 = UCH not stored; carry out “UCH module storing”3 = check if the “repair code” is correct.


SMARTFORTWOABS (’98 >’04) & ESP (’03 >’05)Steering wheel angle sensor calibration


This procedure allows to calibrate the mentioned sensor, and it must be done each time in case of sensor replacement, wheel alignment or any intervention on the Directional Tread.

To do it, please respect the following conditions:The vehicle must be placed in a flat surface. Centrally align wheels and steering wheel therefore perform the procedure.Centrally align wheels and steering wheel, then perform theprocedure.

To check if the procedure completion has been successfully done, drive the vehicle at 30km/h (20mph), then steering fully left and right and check that steering wheel come back to its central position (+/- 20 degrees).


SMARTFORTWOAIRBAG (’98 >’05)Child safety seat Detection


This function allows to enable/disable the child seat detection for passenger side seat.

WARNING: If DETECTION is set OFF, MIND TO ADVISE that is FORBIDDEN to place any child safety seat !The AirBag unit is ACTIVE ! (WARNING sticker applied on the windshield is suggested).The function status can be checked by looking for the concerning items at the live data page.
