ZuBer always focusses on the wishes and requirements of our clients when carrying out projects.

This means we attach great importance to competent project management, per-manent customer contact and maximum quality consciousness.

As a specialist company under the terms of the German Water Resources Act (WHG), ZuBer quality is ensured by continuous assessment by the TÜV (Technical Inspec-tion Agency) and regular testing of our employees TÜV welding qualifications. Speed and flexibility were and are ZuBer strengths.

Our openness and enthusiasm means we are able to incorporate our ideas into our products and come up with new develop-ments as the market leader.

Engagement

ZuBer also believes it is important to sup-port young people in the region. We there-fore actively sponsor the men‘s team of FC Lindenberg e.V.

ZuBer produces, supplies and installs thermoplastic components and containers for the food industry, electroplating, labo-ratory facilities, and many other sectors.

Our modern machinery means we are able to manufacturea wide range of sizes and quantities.

More than 100 employees produce indi-vidual plastic constructions at our two facilities in Röthenbach (Bavaria) and Ru-dolstadt (Thuringia). Upon request by the customer, these can also be delivered di-rectly to the construction site and assem-bled there. The choice of locations meets customer-oriented criteria and enables us to respond quickly and flexibly to their re-quirements.

Company Profile

We also appreciate the quality of life in the beautiful Allgäu district and the area around Rudolstadt in Thuringia.

A healthy environment is a factor that also contributes to the quality of the products that our employees manufacture on a daily basis.

The construction of a new building adja-cent to the former company headquarter-shas almost doubled the production area. This remarkable plant expansion allows us to make our internal work processes even more efficient and to prepare ourselves for future requirements.

Investment, not only in buildings, vehi-cles and machinery, but also in the careful preparation and on-going training of staff is the backbone of the high quality, preci-sion solutions that are tailored to the spe-cific requirements of our customers.

In 1998, together with a colleague, Maik Zuber founded Zuber Kunststoff und In-dustriemontage GbR in Lindenberg im Allgäu, thus laying the foundations of a runaway success story.

Initially specialising in the installation of ventilation systems and fluid pipes, the company quickly expanded into new areas. Within just two years, it began in-house production of integrated ventilation components, resulting in the expansion of the production area to 200 m². Limited room for continued growth meant that the company moved from Lindenberg into the neighbouring municipality of Röthenbach in 2003.

A steadily growing customer base along with an increased order volume and a growing number of employees, were the reasons behind another move in 2005 to Wigglis, a district of Röthenbach. This pro-vided an extensive 1,200 m² production area and 450 square metres of office space for staff numbering around 100. In order to also be able to guarantee speed, flexibility and customer focus in Northern Germany, another production facility was established in Rudolstadt, Thuringia in 2012. This also has a full, 15-person team with a compre-hensive assembly of machines.

For a modern, service-oriented company, it is also important to have a competent team of 30 staff members available for on-site assembly. An extensive transport fleet and in-house tooling makes it possible to respond to customer needs flexibly and competently.

The unique properties of thermoplastic material mean that nowadays complex components and systems can often be made from this versatile material.

In the chemical industry, the specific prop-erties of the material are used for the easy removal of gaseous pollutants via ventila-tion systems, for example.

ZuBer has been designing and manufac-turing plastic components of all types for industrial buildings, laboratory equipment and electroplating plants for the last fif-teen years.

Our core areas:

Exhaust air systems and exhaust air washers

Customised designs (+ milling/turning) and equipmentmanufacturing

Piping systems and container manufacturing

Manufacturing and assemblingplastic constructions

Most exhaust volume flows contain cor-rosive components that chemically attack and destroy materials such as galvanized or stainless steel. Exhaust systems made of plastic are used to extract these polluted gases from electroplating plants or labora-tories.

Thermoplastic materials can be folded like metal and processed mechanically or even welded. This also allows individual com-ponents to be manufactured from plans and drawings. ZuBer exhaust air systems are the result of many years of production experience, coupled with the efficient use of materials. At the production phase of the required components we have already noted the site logistics requirements and aligned the logistics accordingly.

This makes it possible for us to create an ex-haust system that precisely matches your individual requirements using moulded parts such as transitions and bends, sound dampers, flaps and fans.

In the standard version, the cranks have straight end planes. On request, these are also available at extra cost with rounded end planes.

ZuBer can manufacture anypipe and pipe fittingusing chemically resistant, ther-moplastic materials (e.g. PPS, PPS-EL, PP, PPE, PVC). Depending on the dimension, the pipes are suppliedin extruded form or formed from plates with a longitudinal seam. Depending on the dimensions, the fittings can be injection-moulded, press-moulded or segmented.

Fittings include:

· Pipe elbows: 90°, 45°, 30°• Segment bends: 90°, 45°, 30°• Double sockets• Symmetrical/asymmetrical dampers• Tees: 90°, 45°• Y-sections: 90°, 45°• Adapters• Cleaning openings• Spigot pieces• Pipe with bird screen• Flanges• End caps, reducers, and special components

Sound dampers

Our range includes inline duct silencers and baffle silencers.

The baffle silencer consists of a rectangular housing with connecting flanges welded on both sides. The cranks are firmly welded in and operate according to the principle of absorption. The absorbent material is not flammable in accordance with DIN A1 4102 and is covered with a sound-transpar-ent, abrasion-resistant film with perforated plates welded to the cranks.

Covering the absorbent material with foil is particularly important in aggressive ex-haust air flows and protects against dust, moisture and decomposition.

We supply a full range of thermoplastic ventilation systems. For the connection type, you can choose between butt weld-ing and flanged or socket connections.

The channels are bent on the most up-to-date turning benches and welded on but-twelding machines.

Even complex parts are not a problem with our modern and well-equipped produc-tion facilities.

Volumetric flow controllers are part of nearly every large ventilation system.

ZuBer volumetric flow controllers are available in the following versions made from thermoplastic materials: PP, PPS, PPS-EL, PE, PVDF.

Because they are made of plastic, our vol-ume controllers can be used with chemi-cally polluted exhaust air. All components in the air stream are made of plastic and thus resistant to corrosive exhaust air.

Multileaf dampers/Cut-off dampers

Cut-off dampers and multileaf dampers can be used as control, throttle or cut-off dampers for pressure or volumetric flow setting in ventilation systems.

They can be operated manually or by a drive, which depending on the application, operates an „ON/OFF“ function or stepless adjustment ranging from 0° to 90°.

The dampers consist of several rotating hollow blades in a streamlined design mounted in plastic bushings. The flap housing consists of a frame with profiled connecting frames on both sides for con-nection with the channels.

The design of our dampers means that there are no metal parts inside the air stream and a high degree of sealing is pro-vided by a shutoff damper.

Our specialisms:

The market leader for air-tight shutoff dampers

TÜV certified according to DIN EN1751 Class 4 and DIN1946 Part 4

Equipmentmanufacturing

Machine housings, industrial systems, pipe-lines in the food handling sector, hoods made from transparent material and fume extraction tables are often complex com-ponents or covers that need to be manu-factured to order using plastics.

ZuBer designs and manufactures contain-ers of all sizes, shapes and resistance. We can also manufacture casings and spe-cial fittings, such as laboratory tables and laboratory furniture made from different plastics according to your development specifications.

Drawings, planning and selecting the right plastic are the basis for special orders tai-lored to your individual requirements. From design to engineering, production, to commissioning your special technical system, we attach great importance to joint development and a close exchange of information.

Container manufacturing

Within industry, individually designed con-tainers are often required for carrying, stor-ing, filling, collecting or transferring liquids and materials. For acidic substances, a constant reservoir must be created for this purpose to meet the chemical requirements for the con-tents.

Our trained staff, who are regularly have their welding qualifications tested by the TÜV and have many years of experience, ensure first-class workmanship at the high-est level for our products.

As an accredited specialised company, we are regularly examined by the TÜV South Germany in accordance with §19l of the German Federal Water Act (WHG). This qualifies us to install, erect and maintain facilities for storing, handling and filling water polluting substances.

When calculating and constructing the containers we ad here strictly to the DVS guidelines. The static calculation is per-formed before construction of our TÜV cer-tified structural analysis program.

Construction drawings including testable structural calculations are naturally includ-ed in the ZuBer scope of delivery.

Exhaust air extraction/pipeline construction/fluid pipelines

exhaust air systems made of plastic

Many exhaust volume flows contain cor-rosive components that chemically attack and destroy materials such as galvanised or stainless steel. Exhaust systems made of plastic can be used to extract polluted gases from electroplating plants or labora-tories.

Thermoplastic materials can be folded like metal and processed mechanically or even welded. In this way individual components can be manufactured from plans and draw-ings. ZuBer exhaust systems are the result of many years of production experience, coupled with the efficient use of materials. Already during production of the required components we take note of the site lo-gistics requirements and match this to the logistics.

This means that we can create an exhaust system that precisely matches your indi-vidual requirements using moulded parts such as transitions and arcs, silencers, dampers and fans.

exhaust air washers

Contaminated exhaust air produced dur-ing industrial production processes often contains chemical pollutants that have to be disposed of by a filtering system.

While conventional filtering often cannot meet these complex requirements, the chemical absorption procedure is the ide-al alternative to purify air from pollutants such as chromates, hydrochloric acid, am-monia and even nitrous gases.

Environmental regulations have set lim-its for this, which we must always comply with at our facilities. ZuBer can offer you a system concept shortly after receiving the specification. Exhaust washers from ZuBer are the ideal solution, especially for wet-chemical proc-esses in electroplating plants or the semi-conductor industry.

Based on the chemical requirements, ZuBer chooses and combines components from selected manufacturers to accurately pro-duce the washer you need. The material (PP, PE, PVC, PVDF) selected also depends on the temperature, pressure and chemical resistance.

During the manufacturing process, the re-quired installation dimensions or require-ments are taken into account so that no problems arise during the subsequent in-stallation.

Liquid pipelines

For liquid pipelines, we use semi-finished products and components from well-known manufacturers such as G+F, Simona, Dekadur, Frank and Röchling, as well as com-ponents manufactured by us if necessary.

The materials for the pipes and fittings are selected according to the specific field of application and according to their chemi-cal and temperature resistance, unless oth-erwise specified by the customer. Process-ing and assembly is carried out based on guidelines from the manufacturer and the DVS (German association for jointing).

We supply and install pipes, fittings, pre-fabricated building and plant sections: HD PE, PP-H, PPS, PVC-U, PVC-C and PVDF. Our product range also includes components prefabricated to customer specifications.

The joining techniques used by us are: heating element butt and socket welding, electrical socket welding, bonding and flange and also bolted connections.

plastic piping systems

For media supply lines with waste water containing acid in the electroplating sector as well as in the areas of water supply, sani-tation, gas supply and heat supply, plastic piping is frequently required when materi-als such as metal or stainless steel cannot permanently resist these liquids.

Specialist knowledge of technical char-acteristics such as malleability, hardness, elasticity, breaking strength,

temperature, heat resistance and chemical resistance are fundamental for the correct implementation. ZuBer will plan and im-plement your plastic pipe system, perfectly adapted to the task and structure.

We examine the necessary specifications with you, process and shape the necessary customised parts and handle the correct on-site installation.

Page 18: Company BroChure ZUBER GmbH · Company Profile We also appreciate ... parts such as transitions and bends, sound ... • Spigot pieces • Pipe with bird screen • Flanges • End

Complex container and piping systems are usually of such large dimensions that they have to be transported to their destination as individual parts.

This is why channels, mouldings, pipes and special components are first connected onsite using an installation plan. Our in-stallation team determines the lengths and dimensions of the moulded parts required for the installation, which are then stapled together, welded and fixed. The experi-ence of ZuBer fitters, their expertise with their own standard products and not least their knowledge of the details of our own products means they can make changes at short notice because of unforeseeable fac-tors at the installation site.

For ZuBer , the con-tract is only consid-ered to be fulfilled once installation has been completed suc-cessfully on-site.

We have our own 30-person instal-lation team with a fleet of vehicles and tooling machinery.

Reference:Marburg University

Founded in 1527, Philipps University in Marburg is one of the oldest and most tra-ditional German universities. With around 21.000 students, it is a medium-sized Ger-man university. The many departments in-cluding medicine, chemistry, psychology, need to have the right equipment which is why the chemistry department will have a new building with areas for research and teaching that were not available in the former premises.

The new building for the Chemistry De-partment is currently one of the biggest university construction projects in Hesse.Construction should be completed in 2014 when teaching activities will begin in the new institute building. ZuBer was com-missioned by Caverion Deutschland GmbH to equip the new classrooms with parts made from polypropylene flame-resistant material (PPS) including ventilation ducts, fittings, elbows, sound absorbers, shutoff dampers, volume flow controllers etc.

Thanks to our CNC machining centre, we can implement different sizes, thicknesses and also round and rectangular shapes, thus responding more effectively to cus-tomer requirementsin terms of dimen-sions. Assembly of ventilation tubes and pipe fittings is within our remit at the major project in Marburg, which we are keen to implement to the total satisfaction of ourcustomers.

This construction project is so far the larg-est project in the history of ZuBer GmbH, which was founded in 1998. Complet-ing the development requires on average around 10 of our technicians per week.
