1 Introduction to Comodo OneComodo One is the integrated platform for Managed Service Providers which combines Remote Monitoring, Service Desk and Patch Management modules into a single, easily navigated console.

Comodo One contains the following core components:

• Comodo Service Desk - A fully featured ticket management system which allows enterprises to implement strong and effective work-flows for internal and customer-facing support departments. Comodo Service Desk allows administrators and staff members to respond to tickets, reassign tickets to other departments or personnel, generate reports, create knowledge base articles and more.

• Comodo Patch Management – Provides administrators and MSPs with granular control over the deployment of updates to operating systems and 3rd party applications on network endpoints. Featuring an easy to use interface, Comodo Patch Manager allows administrators to define patching policies and schedules and to remotely monitor the deployment of Windows and Linux operating system updates.

• Comodo Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) – Comodo RMM is an efficient endpoint monitoring application that allows administrators to monitor and manage multiple endpoints from one centralized console.

You also have the option to add the following components as Comodo One module.

• Comodo Device Manager (CDM) - Allows MSPs to manage, monitor and secure mobile devices and Windows endpoints which connect to customer networks. Once an iOS, Android or Windows device has been enrolled, administrators can quickly apply configuration profiles which determine network access rights, security settings and general preferences. A powerful addition to any MSP toolkit, Device Manager allows you to secure customer data regardless of the device that holds it.

• Acronis Cloud Backup – A perfect solution for all your backup and disaster recovery needs. This cloud-based application has the ability to backup any application and system including Windows, Linux and Mac. Available with pre and post-paid subscription models, this solution fits the needs of any enterprise.

2 Signing up for a Comodo One Account

Getting a Comodo One account is very easy and can be completed in a few steps.

• Visit https://one.comodo.com/

• Click 'GET IT FOR FREE', then enter your email address in the box

• Complete the short enrollment form.

• Company Name: Enter the name of the company that you want to enroll for Comodo One.

• Telephone Number: Enter the company contact number.• Sub-domain: Enter the sub-domain to be used by

Comodo One. For example, if you enter the sub-domain 'milkyway' then you can access the Service Desk module by entering the URL 'https://milkyway.servicedesk.comodo.com'

• Contact Email: This field will be pre-populated with email address provided. Enter a new email address if you wish to change it. You will receive the verification link to this email address.

• Password field: Enter the password.• End User License Agreement: Read the EULA fully and

select the 'I have read EULA and accept it' check box.• Captcha: Enter the Captcha value to verify your

application • Click the 'Submit' button.

A verification email will be sent to the email address you provided in the 'Contact Email' field:

• Click the 'Verify my email' linkAfter verification you will be able login to your account at https://one.comodo.com/app/login

That's it. You have successfully created a Comodo One account. Please note that this account will be automatically granted 'Account Admin' privileges and cannot be deleted. This is effectively the 'Master Admin'. You will be able to create 'MSP Admins' and Staff under this account. Refer to the section 'Managing Administrators' for more details.

2.1 Logging-in to your Account As Comodo One is a web application, you can login into your account using any Internet browser by entering https://one.comodo.com/ in the address bar of the browser.

After successful verification, the Comodo One administrative console will be displayed.

To set a new passwordIf you have forgotten your current password, you can set a new one by clicking the 'Forgot password' link in the 'Login' interface.

• Enter your account email address and click 'Send Request'. We will email password reset instructions to the address provided.

3 The Administrative ConsoleThe Comodo One interface gives Account Administrators and MSP Administrators/Staff direct access to the Comodo One modules. The interface also allows the Account Administrator to add MSP Administrators and Staff members who are privileged to access the C1 modules.

The name of the user that is currently logged in is shown at top left. Visit the Comodo One products help pages, Comodo Enterprise and MSP Consortium Forum pages by clicking the help icon at the bottom. The current version of C1 is displayed next to 'Help' and clicking it will display the release notes for the components.

• Settings: Change your current password. Refer to the section 'Changing your Password' for more details.

• Logout: Allows you to log out of the interface.

• Home: After logging into the C1 interface, the 'Dashboard' will be displayed as the home screen. Clicking the home button or the 'Comodo One' logo at the top will return you to the 'Dashboard'.

• Help: Click the icon to visit Comodo One help pages and forum pages. Refer to the section 'Comodo One Support' for more details.• Help Documents – Takes you to the Comodo One

• Comodo Enterprise Forum – A Comodo Enterprises products forum page that allows to post your views and discuss all aspects of our products.

• MSP Consortium Forum – Takes you to the MSP Consortium forum. The Managed Service Provider community is a lively, proactive hub of like-minded experts willing to help you develop answers to any technical or business related questions you may have.

• Version No: Click the version to view the release notes such as what new features are added and what bugs are fixed and so on for the C1 core components. Refer to the section 'Viewing Release Notes' for more details.

• Comodo Patch Management – Allows granular control over the deployment of updates to operating systems and 3rd party applications on network endpoints. Featuring a centralized, easy to use interface, Comodo Patch Manager allows administrators to carry out various functions remotely such as deploy OS updates for both Windows and Linux machines, update 3rd party applications and more. Refer to the dedicated Patch Management guide for more details.

• Comodo Remote Monitoring and Management – A complete endpoint management solution which combines endpoint monitoring and alerting with ultra-fast remote desktop sharing, a robust ticketing sub-system, application life-cycle management, process and service management, endpoint security management and custom scripting for automated break-fixing. Refer to the dedicated RMM guide for more details.

• Comodo Device Manager (CDM) - This module is optional and can be added after creating a Comodo One account. Refer to the section 'Adding Comodo Device Manager to C1 Modules' for more details. CDM allows administrators to manage, monitor and secure mobile devices and Windows endpoints which connect to customer networks. Once an iOS, Android or Windows device has been enrolled, administrators can quickly apply configuration profiles which determine network access rights, security settings and general preferences. A powerful addition to any MSP toolkit, Device Manager allows you to secure customer data regardless of the device that holds it.

• Acronis Cloud Backup - This module is optional and can be added after creating a Comodo One account. Refer to the section 'Adding Acronis Cloud Backup to C1 Modules' for more details. This is a cost effective tool for MSPs to render backup and disaster recovery services for their customers. Available both in local and in cloud for backups, this tool is capable of backing up data from any source and recovers to any destination and system.

App Store: Displays Comodo applications that are available for C1 users. Currently only CDM and Acronis Cloud Backup applications can be added as a fully integrated C1 module. All other applications are 'standalone' and planned to be integrated in the upcoming versions. Refer to the section 'App Store' for more details.

Management: Enables Account Administrators to manage their Comodo One account and MSP Administrators.• Staff - Admins added here can access all modules in Comodo One and have administrator privileges for Patch

Management and RMM modules. For Service Desk, the privileges differ depending on whether the staff member was added with admin privileges (aka an 'MSP Admin') or not. Staff without admin privileges can access only the staff panel in Service Desk while staff member with MSP Admin privileges can access both admin and staff panels in Service Desk. After an MSP Admin or Staff has been created, they will receive an account verification email and be asked to create a unique password. Refer to the section 'Managing Administrators' for more details.

• Company - Organizations created by Account Administrators to manage their own IT issues and requirements. Any number of companies/departments can be created for the account depending on subscription levels. Companies added here are automatically added to the Service Desk, RMM and Patch Management modules and be viewed by all MSP Admins when they are in those modules. Module-specific users and administrators can be added under these companies from within each module itself. Refer to the section 'Managing Companies' for more details.

• Account – Allows account administrators to personalize and edit the account details such as name, email address, address, phone numbers and notes. Refer to the section 'Managing your Account' for more details.

• Subscriptions – Provides information about your App Store purchases such as product types, payment types and the subscription period. Refer to the section 'Managing Subscriptions' for more details.

• Usage – Provides the module usage information such as the storage used for backup module including total quota and total usage. Refer to the section 'View Usage Details' for more information.

• Billing – Allows account administrators to view past bills as well as current bill invoiced. Refer to the section 'View Billing Details' for more information.

Notifications: This section displays the latest news about C1 components. Refer to the section 'Viewing Notifications' for more details. Comodo pushes the latest news about Comodo One products and these will be available in the 'Notifications' screen.

4 The DashboardThe 'Dashboard' displays a snapshot summary of various statuses such as Service Desk tickets, available patches for enrolled devices, details of operating systems, policies to endpoints and more. The 'Dashboard' is displayed by default after logging in to C1 or you can open the screen by the following methods:

• Clicking the home button

• Clicking the 'Comodo One' logo at the top• Clicking the 'Dashboard' button from the left menu

The dashboard will be displayed:

By default, the dashboard will display the SD and PM statuses of all the companies enrolled for the account. To view the dashboard for a particular company, click the 'Company' drop-down:

• Select the company for which you want to view the dashboard

Details of the dashboard

Ticket StatusThis pertains to the Service Desk component and displays the total number of tickets, number of tickets that are overdue and tickets that are unassigned.

• Clicking on a ticket status at the top will toggle the display of the parameter on the pie chart

Available PatchesThis pertains to the Patch Management component and displays the number of patches that are critical and need to be deployed onto the endpoints. It also provides the number of optional patches and the number of endpoints that are up to date.

• Clicking on a status at the top will toggle the display of the parameter on the pie chart

Operating SystemsThis pertains to RMM component and displays the details of operating systems installed on the enrolled endpoints. The names of the operating systems are displayed on the X-axis and the number of endpoints that are installed the respective OS displayed on the Y-axis.

Activity StatusThis pertains to RMM component and displays the number of endpoints that are connected and available and the endpoints that are unavailable. The offline status displays the number of endpoints that are offline for more than a day and less than a day.

• Clicking on a status at the top will toggle the display of the parameter on the pie chart

Policy StatusThis pertains to the RMM component and displays the number of policies that are applied to endpoints and number of polices that are pending to be applied.

Device TypeThis pertains to RMM component and displays the number of devices that are categorized as workstations and servers. The device type is displayed on the X-axis and the number of devices for a particular type is displayed on the Y-axis.

At the bottom of the dashboard the details of the devices and patches for the companies enrolled for the account will be displayed:

5 App StoreThe App Store allows administrators to view and access a range of popular Comodo applications. ‘Integrated Modules’, such as Comodo Device Manager and Acronis Cloud Backup, will be added to the C1 console alongside RMM, Patch Management and Service Desk. Other products in the app store are currently ‘standalone’ but we plan to integrate them with C1 in upcoming versions. Clicking the 'Details' link will provide a brief introduction to the product, its features and benefits, requirements and pricing.

Click 'App Store' on the left to open and view the Comodo apps:

• Comodo MSSP Platform – Provides Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and enterprises with the tools they need to effectively manage, monitor and respond to customer requirements. • Comodo Device Manager (CDM) – Manage and secure all endpoints and mobile devices with a single management application. With more and more enterprises and organizations taking a liberal view toward BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), it is imperative that the security policy of an organization is not breached. CDM is a web based solution that allows administrators to deploy appropriate polices to devices and Windows endpoints that adheres to an organization's security policies. CDM can be integrated with C1 and can be manged from the C1 web interface. To know more about how to integrate into C1, refer to the next section 'Adding Comodo Device Manager to C1 Modules'.

• Acronis Cloud Backup – This enterprise backup solution allows you to perform local backup and cloud backup of all data from disks, partitions, servers and so on. In case of data loss, you can recover anything easily and quickly, be it files, folders, applications or entire system. Acronis Cloud Backup can be integrated with C1 and managed from the C1 web interface. To know more about how to add this application into C1, refer to the 'Adding Acronis Backup to C1 Modules'.

5.1 Adding Comodo Device Manager to C1 ModulesComodo Device Manager (CDM) is a single, unified platform that allows administrators to protect and manage mobile devices and Windows endpoints from a single console. CDM is offered as a locally hosted solution and as a cloud portal. For the cloud portal, CDM is hosted from Comodo cloud server as a Software as a Service (SaaS) and this can be integrated with C1.

To add CDM to C1 modules, click 'App Store' on the left

The basic version is free for one year with unlimited users if you want to try it before purchasing it.

• Click the 'Start Basic Version' button to subscribe for a trial version • Click the 'Get Now' button to select the subscription plan according to your requirement.

The 'Shopping' page for CDM preselected will be displayed:

• Select the subscription plan from the product list.• Select the number of users and license period that you wish to subscribe for from the 'Users' and 'License Period'

drop-downs. This will apply for paid version only.• In the 'Customer Information' section, select whether you are an existing user under 'User Details'. If you already have

a Comodo Account Manager (CAM) account, select 'Yes' and then enter the existing CAM credentials. If you select

After successful subscription, a CAM account will be created for you. • In the 'Payment Options', provide the required credit card details.• Click the 'End User License/Service Agreement' link, read the EULA fully, select the check and click the 'Continue'

button.• In the 'Order Confirmation' page, review the details and click the 'Back' button for any changes. Click the 'Place Order'

button to continue the purchase process.

After the purchase process is successfully completed, the CDM app will be added to the C1 module and appear in the 'Modules' section.

• Click 'Modules' on the left side.

The added CDM module will be displayed. Click the 'Open Module' button to manage mobile devices and endpoints.

The 'Companies List' screen will be displayed:

• Click on the name of the company under the 'Name' column

The CDM cloud portal for your account will be displayed.

The next step is to install Apple Push Notification (APN) certificate and Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) token on your portal to facilitate communication with the managed devices. Refer to our online guide for more details about how to add these to your CDM cloud portal:

• Select the subscription plan from the product list.• Select the license period that you wish to subscribe for from the 'License Period' drop-down• In the 'Customer Information' section, select whether you are an existing user under 'User Details'. If you already have

a Comodo Account Manager (CAM) account, select 'Yes' and then enter the existing CAM credentials. If you select 'No', then enter the details in all the fields. After successful subscription, a CAM account will be created for you.

• In the 'Payment Options', provide the required credit card details.• Click the 'End User License/Service Agreement' link, read the EULA fully, select the check and click the 'Continue'

button.• In the 'Order Confirmation' page, review the details and click the 'Back' button for any changes. Click the 'Place Order'

After the purchase process is successfully completed, the Acronis Cloud Backup app will be added to the C1 module and appear in the 'Modules' section.

6 Managing AdministratorsThe 'Staff' screen allows Account Administrators to add MSP Administrators. Once created, these users will be able to login into C1 at one.comodo.com and will be able to access the service desk, patch management and RMM modules. You can also transfer the account administrator privileges to another MSP administrator.

Staff List – Table of Column Descriptions

Column Header Description

Name The name of the administrator or staff member

Email The email address of the administrator or staff member

Admin The check marks indicate MSP Admin privileges. If no check mark is present then it indicates a staff member. An MSP administrator can only create staff members. The master Account Admin can create both MSP Administrators and staff members.

Account Admin A check marks indicates this is the 'Master' administrator of the Comodo One account. He/she has the privileges to add MSP administrators and staff members for this account.

The interface allows account administrators to:

• Add MSP Administrators/Staff• Edit the details of MSP Administrators/Staff• Remove MSP Administrators/Staff

To add MSP Administrators/Staff• Click the 'New' button in the 'Staff' interface

The 'Add Staff' form will be displayed:

• Select the 'Admin' check box if you want to add an MSP Administrator. Leave it blank if you want to add a staff member.

• Enter the name of the Administrator or Staff in the 'Name' field.• Enter the email address of the Administrator or Staff to which the verification email will be sent.• Click the 'Save' button.

A verification email will be sent to the email address. After clicking the verification link in the mail, the recipient will be asked to set a unique password for accessing Comodo One and the individual modules.

To edit the details of administrators/staffThe 'Edit' screen allows to edit the details as well as to transfer account administrator rights to another administrator.

• Select the MSP Administrator/Staff then click the 'Edit' button:

6.1 Admin Privilege LevelsAccount Admins, MSP Admins and MSP Staff for Comodo One modules are added and managed via the Comodo ONE web console at one.comodo.com. The following tables summarize the privileges of these user types in the web console itself and each of the individual modules.

Comodo One Web Console

Account Admin The Account Administrator is the top level administrator and can access all areas and functionality of the Comodo One Administrative console and the individual modules.From the Comodo One web console, the Account Administrator can:

8.2 Viewing Usage DetailsThe 'Usage' section provides the details of usage of modules, for example, the GB used for Acronis Backup Module. You can also view the total quota subscribed for and total used in this section.

To open the 'Usage' screen, click 'Management' on the left then 'Usage'.

Click on a module that you want to view its usage details. For example, the usage details for Acronis Cloud Backup module includes the subscribed usage, under what plan the quota is subscribed, whether prepaid or post paid, the backup storage used by each company in the account. The details are shown as time chart for each company as well as total usage for all the companies.

8.3 Viewing Billing DetailsThe 'Billing' tab provides payment information for prepaid/ postpaid plans subscribed for and displays details such as the billing date, the due date on or before which the bill should be paid, the total amount, usage subscribed for and the status of subscription.

Click on a module that you want to view its usage details. For example, the billing details for Acronis Cloud Backup module includes the date of billing each month, the last date before which the bill must be paid, the total subscription amount for the bill, the usage allowed for the subscription plan and the status of the bill. For prepaid plans, it will show as 'Recurring' under the 'Status' column and for post paid plans it will show as 'Pending' or 'Paid' depending upon the status.

The following image shows the billing details of Acronis Cloud Backup for an account.

9 Accessing the ModulesAfter creating an account in Comodo One and adding organizations, the account administrators, administrators and staff members can access the Service Desk, Patch Management and RMM modules from the Comodo One interface. These three modules are available by default and Comodo Device Manager (CDM) / Acronis Backup can be added from this interface later on. Refer to the sections 'Adding Comodo Device Manager to C1 Modules' and Adding Acronis Backup to C1 Modules for more details about how to add these applications to CDM.

10 Changing your PasswordAccount administrators, administrators and staff members can change their current password from the Comodo One interface.
