The Lifeskills Education Advancement Program (LEAP)
The Lifeskills Education Advancement Program (LEAP) offers classes designed for the physical, mental, economic, and civic development of the members of our community. Whether you are looking to learn a new business skill or trade, get fit, or tap into your creative side, LEAP has the class for you! LEAP believes in pursuing your passion at any age and time in your life because learning is a lifelong journey.

Community Services Programs
A community services offering is a fee-supported, not-for-credit community services class authorized by Title 5, for which state apportionment is not claimed and credit not awarded.

NOCE – Wilshire Continuing Education Center
NOCE – Off-Site Community Locations (Community Centers, K-12)
Benefits of Community Services Programs
• Provides lifelong learning opportunities
– Students 18 months and older
• Provides services to the community without impacting the General Fund
– Classes cost between $15 - $199 per term
• Classroom instruction, materials, supplies, and administrative costs
• Assists with pre-requisites
• A pathway to noncredit and credit classes
• Nimble. Classes can be implemented within one term after submission
• Can partner with existing programs in the community (Swimming)
