What it is:• Owned, led and managed by the community• An opportunity for everyone to have their say• Based on evidence• Planning policy guidelines on the look and feel of
future development• In conformity with TVBC Local Plan• Adopted by TVBC as Supplementary Planning
Document (SPD)

What it is:•Undertaken by town and parish councils or 'neighbourhood forums'•Heavily regulated•Subject to independent examination and public referendum•Adopted by TVBC and forms part of Local Plan•Must conform with TVBC Local Plan and National Planning Policy Framework
Community Action Project
What it is:
•Owned, led and managed by the community
•Focus on a specific geographic area, age group or issue of concern
•Based on evidence
•Likely to result in a “quick win”
•Documented as a case study or report

What it is:•Owned, led and managed by the community•An opportunity for everyone to get involved and have their say •Based on evidence•Priorities for next 5 - 10 years•A plan of actions and projects•Endorsed by the LSP / TVBC
