JAMES, Callan Egan- Jim, Dale,Hanna and Madeleine Grace aredeeply saddened by the departing ofCal - son and brother. Cal passed awayin his sleep the morning of July 12th.was born on a Friday the 13th, March,1992. An empathic, loving, trustworthyand eclectic teenager, he was loved byhis sisters, mum, dad and all the family.Honest to a fault, Cal always gavehimself away by the tell-tale cornersof his mouth whenever he tried to pullthe wool over someone's eyes. Froman early age, he was a quick thinker, adiligent worker and had his father'snatural head for math and science. Atypical evening at the Egan home
involved the girls, Cal, and Jim at the kitchen couch chuckling to theSimpsons while Mom was cooking for the crew. Cal grew up playingsoccer, hockey, squash, unicycling and skiing with the family. He wassuch a good little guy. He had a love of ketchup, a passion for 'World ofWarcraft', any kind of water (swimming, surfing waves, shoveling snowand loved a great rainstorm). He was a strong student and was on theReach team at school. Studies came easy to him, leaving time forother adventures with his friends. He will be sadly missed by his family,his grandmothers Eileen Egan and Dorothy Waugh, his aunts and unclesRita, Liam, Brenda, Mikey, Penny, Don, Linda, Rodney, Judy and Janice,and his cousins Meaghan, Kyle, Avari, David, Justin, Conor, Dylan, Tori,Spencer, Garnet and Jamie and all the relatives here and around theworld. Cal finds himself now in the company of his two grandfathers -Donald Waugh and Seamie "poppy" Egan. Visitations for Cal were from2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Tuesday July 17th at Glen Oaks Memorial Chapeland Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas) Oakville.
