grew from an idea to apply a concept of psychoterapy in language teacing.this method develop by Charles A.Curran in 1972 and also call the method of conceling.because the aplication of this theory use conceling tehniques in language teaching is very advanced.
PrincipleStudent are concidered as whole person or an individual is intact,meaning the teacher not only pay attention to the feeling an understanding of student but also the relationship with fellow student and the students desire to learn.
A teacher must position it self as a counseler who will understand the fellings and problems faced by student.
Characteristics in relation of learning Curran said there are six elements that need to
be considered in the learning process• -security• -agression• -attention• -reflection• -rettention• -discrimination. of the six that we can conclude that this methode
would like to creat a sense of security in the learning
The rule of student and teacher

More plays as a mentor teacher (counselor) who train their student.
This methode which based on student-centered or teacher-centered but more to the teacher-student centered with both to decision makers in the class
