UNIVERSITY GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

University minimum requirements for a bachelor’s degree: 120 credits 40 credits in Liberal Education 40 credits in upper-division (300-499) courses 30 credits in residence at SCSU Apply for graduation (best done 2 semesters prior to

graduation) Records and Registration office, AS 118

Major-specific requirements: 2.5 overall GPA to be admitted to the Community

Health major and to graduate from the program Must complete all major courses with a grade of "C-" or

better

HOW TO APPLY TO THE COMMUNITY HEALTH MAJOR:

Must complete HLTH 210, 215, 225, 325 and PESS 249 or BIO 202

Download from the website the Community Health Major/Minor Application Form

Complete the form electronically (utilizing your DARS Report)

Gather the needed signatures (get the minor advisor’s or a second major advisor’s signature before the required Community Health advisor’s)

The Kinesiology Chairperson will submit the form to Records and Registration

Records and Registration will notify the student by email (minimum of 2 weeks)
