Do Thi Thanh Huyen, Country Director for Enda Vietnam shares the experiences and insights of the ENDA programme to promote livelihood activities as part of solid waste improvement and development activities. A description of the community based solid waste management projects, its links with city wide solid waste management and how it is financed were discussed. Approaches, policies, lessons learned and suggestions for future innovations or improvements were highlighted in the presentation.TRANSCRIPT

SUGGESTIONS The model is feasible and appropriate for
small community in suburb/suburban area of the cities
It is the cost and environment effective solutions
The model is highly recommended for replication .
It is replicated in 3 places (cities) in Viet Nam
