Training Courses Sponsored by the National Empowerment Foundation (NEF)

The Training and Placement Unit has for objective to develop new vocational training to enable NEF Beneficiaries and unemployed registered with NEF to acquire technical skills to enable them to find a job on the local market or abroad through circular migration. Where ever possible NEF ensure the placement of its trainees so that they have the required practical experience to enhance their employability.

Applications are therefore invited from UNEMPLOYED Mauritians who are interested in the training courses below. The training will be provided by the Mauritius Institute of Training and Development (MITD). The training including practical session will be on a part time basis over a period of three months on average.

Additional Informationi. The National Empowerment Foundation will meet the cost of the training;ii. Medium of instruction: French / Creole;iii. A stipend of Rs 3000 per trainee per month will be paid for attending the training but paid at the end of the training.

Mode of Application

Interested candidates are requested to fill in the Application Form and to deposit the same at National Empowerment Foundation, 7th Floor, Garden Tower, La Poudrire Street, Port-Louis during working hours.

Applicants are requested to:a. submit a copy of their National Identity Card,b. clearly indicate their preferences for two courses in order of preference
