Courageous dreamers and visionaries, we are part of everyone

who has taken this journey of remembrance.

COMMUNION

From the followers gathered in the upper room with their friend and

teacher, to the ones on that Emmaus Road who remembered the story,

COMMUNION

to the ones who struggled and clung to life across the waters of the

middle passage,

COMMUNION

to the ones who beat the drums and danced in spite of,

COMMUNION

to the ones who created their own way of connecting with the God of

their ancestors and the God of their understanding,

COMMUNION

to our hearts, here, today. We are all part of this journey.

COMMUNION

No matter where you are on your diaspora journey, this is a table of

hope, of peace, of connection and of life which is open to you.

COMMUNION

You have a personal invitation from the Holy One to participate.

COMMUNION

You are uniquely made by God for your journey.

COMMUNION

At MCC, we practice an open communion. That means that all are

welcome to partake in this feast.

corazones y conecta el pasado, presente y futuro.

Conecta nuestros corazones, Oh Dios de gracia, para que tu espíritu nos recuerde el precioso regalo de tu

hijo.

A través del ejemplo de Jesús, también tenemos conexión con Dios

fire of your Holy Spirit on us and on these gifts of bread and juice.

he gathered with the disciples and offered service.

una cena con ellos.

He offered fruit of the field and fruit of the vine.

COMMUNIONHe took the bread, blessed it, giving thanks to the

Creator, broke it and gave it to those present saying,

"Tomen y coman, esto es mi cuerpo que será entregado por ustedes.

“Take, eat, this is my body which will be given for you.

Do this when you gather together and remember me.”

Hagan esto cuando se reúnan y recuérdenme."

COMMUNIONCuando acabó la cena, Jesús tomó la copa, la bendijo dando gracias a Dios, la ofreció a los

presentes y dijo:

When the meal was over, Jesus took the cup, blessed it giving thanks to God,

offered it to those present and said:

COMMUNION“Drink from this cup, all of you, for this is the cup of my love, the cup of the new covenant poured out

for you.”

"Tomen y beban de esta copa, todos ustedes, para esto es la Copa de mi amor, la Copa de la nueva

alianza derramada por ustedes.

Let us proclaim what is the

mystery of our faith:

Permítanos proclamar lo que es el

Christ has died. Cristo ha muerto.

Cristo ha resucitado. Christ has risen.

Christ is present. Cristo está presente.
