A telephone, is a telecommunication device that permits two or more users to conduct a conversation
when they are not in the same place. A telephone was invented in 1876 by
Alexander gram bell and further developed by many others, the
telephone was the first device in history that enabled people to talk
directly with each other across large distances.
FAXFax sometimes called telecopying or
telefax, is the telephonic transmission of scanned printed material normally to a telephone number connected to a printer or other output device. The original document is scanned with a fax
machine. Its full form is facsimile.
COMPUTERA computer is a general purpose
device that can be programmed to carry out a set of arithmetic or logical
operations. Since a sequence of operations can be readily changed, the computer can solve more than
one kind of problem.it was invented by Charles Babbage.
NEWSPAPERNewspaper and magazines have always been important means of
mass communication. Newspaper give us day-to-day information about event from all over the world. They
are available in almost all the languages.
RADIORadio is a popular mean of mass
communication. People still follow a cricket match by
listening to a running commentary on the transistor
radio.
TELEVISIONTelevision, or TV for short, is a
telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving
images that can be monochrome or colored, with or without
accompanying sound. They provide us variety of
programs.News,educational and entertainment programs shown on
TV are watched by millions of peoples. SATELITE
India has launched a no. of satellites into space for the purpose of
communication. Indian national satellite system –INSAT IA,IB,IC,ID and many others have helped to
sped up communication. International and overseas calls can
be made through satellites. Live telecast of sports and cultural events is made possible by these satellites.
