• DTC has already procured 600 Non-AC Low Floor Buses and 25 AC Low Floor Buses.
• It has placed an order for 1,500 Non-AC Low Floor Buses and 1,000 AC Low Floor Buses.
• DTC is also planning to procure 750 Non-AC Semi-Low Floor Buses and 250 AC Semi-Low Floor Buses.
• Transport Department also plans to introduce around 4,400 buses under the Scheme of Private Stage Carriage Corportisation.
Phasing out Blue Line Buses

Transport Department is working towards replacing the Blue-Line Buses with new modern low floor buses under the Scheme of
Private Stage Carriage Corportisation.

Light Rail and Mono Rail• Project Technical Feasibility has been completed for
both the projects.• It is recommended to develop Mono Rail and LRT
Projects under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Project.

Covering of Drains – Parking Facility• A total area of 5,280 Sq. Meters to provide parking
space for more than 120 cars. • The key purpose is to provide a parking facility in
Ambedaker Nagar area along BRT Corridor to prevent parking road side.
