Introduction
1 Introduction This document is intended to provide information on the functionalities of the eBaoTech Common Party.
1.1 Intended Audiences
The intended audiences of this document are: Insurance operators Developers
1.2 Typographical Conventions
This section describes the typographical conventions used in this document.

2 Overview of Party Party module is a necessary part in insurance operation system. It is designed for the users in insurance company to manage the party information in the system. This module provides the following functions:

Maintaining Party
3 Maintaining Party This function is developed for users to create new parties or maintain parties. User can create new parties or modify party’s contact information, account information, role information, relationship information, amend the account link and address link for the policy, modify basic information, give comments and query change history for each party.
3.1 Searching Party
1. From the main menu, select Party, and then click Maintain Party to display the Party Search page.

2. Select Individual or Organization from the Party Category drop-down list, and select a party role name from the Party Role drop-down list. Then enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the target record and view the related information.

3.2 Creating a New Party
To create a new party, do as follows:
1. From the main menu, select Party, and then click Maintain Party.
2. The Party Search page is displayed. Select Individual or Organization from the Party Category drop-down list, and select a party role name from the Party Role drop-down list. Then click Create a New Party.
3. The Party Basic Information page is displayed. Enter party basic information and party role information. The party role information can be configured in Configure Role Type sub-module.

4. Click Contact Info tab to create or maintain Correspondence Address, Other Address or Contact Person information.

5. Click Account Info tab to create or maintain bank and CPF/SRS accounts. Click the hyperlink of Account Record Number to edit the specified account.

6. Click Role tab to create or maintain roles.

4 Searching Party From the main menu, select Party, and then click Search party. The Party Search page will be displayed. User can select the target record to view information about the party role. The UIs are the same as those for creating a new party, but the related information cannot be edited.

Merging Parties
5 Merging Parties To merge parties, do as follows:
1. From the main menu, select Party, and then click Merge Party.
2. The Party Search page is displayed. Set search criteria and click Search.
3. Select two target records and click Merge.

4. The Merge Detail page is displayed. Select the party to be kept in the system for future use by clicking the radio button before the Party ID. Then click Merge.

Maintaining User
6 Maintaining User To maintain user information, do as follows:
1. From the main menu, select Party, and then click User Management.
2. The Party Role User Management page is displayed. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the target record and click Maintain User.
4. The User Create page is displayed. Maintain the information of the party role user. Then click Save.

7 Configuring Party
7.1 Adding a New Role Type
To add a new role party, do as follows:
1. From the main menu, select Party, Configure Party, and then click Add New Role Type.

2. The Add New Role Type page is displayed. Enter the related information and then click Add.

3. The EMS Management-Metadata Entity Information page is displayed. In the Property Information area, enter the property information, including property name, business type, and default value. Then click Apply. The property will be displayed in the Property List area. Click Add to add more properties, or select the existing property and click Delete to delete it.

4. Click Submit. A party role is added.

The added new role type will be display in the Role Type drop-down list.

7.2 Configuring Role Type
To configure role type, do as follows:
1. From the main menu, select Party, Configure Party, and then click Configure Role Type.

2. The Role Type Configuration page is displayed. Select Party Category, Role Type, and Applicability. Then click EMS Design.

3. The EMS Management-Metadata Entity Information page is displayed. Maintain or add properties for the party role. For example, if you need to record the lawyer certificate number for party role of lawyer, add the lawyer certificate number as the property for the role. Once the property has been added, it can be configured to display on the screen.

4. In the Role Type Configuration page, click UI Configuration.
5. The UI configuration page is displayed. click to edit existing group or click Add Group to create a group.

6. You can add an item as defined in EMS module to the group, or select an item in the group and click Edit Item to edit the attributes of this item.

7. You can also select an item and click Delete Item to delete it if necessary. To make operator work effectively, you can click Preview to check the result of UI configuration.

8 Configuring Country Template and Organization This chapter describes how to configure country template and organization for a party.
8.1 Country Template Management
8.1.1 Adding a Country Template
To add a country template, do as follows:
1. From the main menu, select System Administration, and then click Country Template Management.

2. The Country Template Management Page is displayed. Select a country and click Add.

8.1.2 Setting Name Formats
To set name formats of the template, do as follows:
1. In the left pane, click Name Formats Setting under Locale. The party name configuration page is displayed on the right.

2. Click Add. The Party Name Rule Detail area is cleared. Configure the party name rules, and then click Save.
3. To modify a rule, select it and modify it in the Party Name Rule Detail area. Then click Save.

8.2 Organization Settings Management
8.2.1 Adding an Organization
To add an organization, do as follows:
1. From the main menu, select System Administration, and then click Country Template Management.

8.2.2 Setting Name Formats
The procedure for setting name formats of organization is the same as that of Country Template. For details, refer to section 8.1.2 Setting Name Formats on page 20.
8.2.3 Setting Address Formats
The procedure for setting address formats of organization is the same as that of Country Template. For details, refer to section 8.1.3 Setting Address Formats on page 21.
8.3 Organization Configuration Information
The configuration information of organization is copied from country template. Therefore, when creating an independent accounting branch, you need to specify the country (region) of the branch.
